Here's the brand new single from those handsome sons of lords and ladies, the blues-blooded brothers:

BLUES OF THE SMOOCHING DRUCHII

Hey folks here's the story 'bout Druchi Schmoochers
Those pretty low-down dwelling darkie koochers
Them was the roughest toughest gang
And them played us with a style'n'bang

And it kept on raining
And it rained on raining
And the rain kept on raining
All day long it was raining and whailing

We messed around with blokes so darky
'Cause we love this the game so corky
We the ones so high and mighty
'till they came and took us down
Oh' we were so high and mighty
'till they came and took us down

Dodgy dodgy dodgy go
Whammaloo!
Keep on going going going
Whammaloo!
Blocky blitzy play try to make
Whammaloo!
No point trying that 'gainst the Druchii Smuchii Schmoo

Druuchii druuchii druuchi schmoo
Whamma banga blitz aloo
Druuchii druuchii druuchi schmoo

So they gave us the ball
But then they took it way
So they took us to a brawl
And then they made us pay

Druuchii druuchii druuchi schmoo
Whamma banga blitz aloo
Druuchii druuchii druuchi schmoo

Poor helfie, poor high'n mighty elfie
You keep on getting knocked down
On the field so wet and brown
Poor helfie, poor hign'n mighty elfie
You keep on getting knocked out
On the field so lacking of drought

They gave us a trashin' and flexed their forces
Each play they gave us a dozen courses
Had a million dollars worth of plans and rimes
They got around and bent them a million times

Druuchii druuchii druuchi schmoo
Whamma banga blitz aloo
Druuchii druuchii druuchi schmoo

----------------------
Coachy comments: Not much to tell about the 4-0 trashing my Elvish Blues Bloods just got from the Barmution's Druchii Smuchii Schmoos. Just a too tough an opponent for my rookie team and as I got no help from the dice, the game was decided just as soon as the first half ended. I went permanently undermanned on the 4th turn or so and Barm's two guards kept my blocking to minimum and gave him excellent opportunities to blitz the ball away. And it rained all of the game, just like in my last game.

All righty, looks like the biotic ants that I got from the witch doctor on Sunday are working, so I should be able to play today (Monday). 18-19 CET would work for me, earlier the better. Friday 19 will be OK, if today isn't suitable for you anymore.
Awesome biotic ants saves the (mon)day!

Catch you tonight at 19 CET, then? Since this'll be a racial grudge match, I hope I'll be able to inspire you to further heights of bluesy epics (muahahaa!). No true art are born without suffering, you know.. Hopefully not mine ;)

OK, see on the field later today at 19 CET but I'm hoping you won't catch any of my runners or passes:)

"The Blues of Blood Bowl - it's feelings and soul. It's not the goals you score but rhytm'n tone and more. It's about which blitzes you decide to make... and which bones you decide to break."

Seeing as Wednesday is out of the question for me, let's say Thursday at 20.00 CET, then. If you by some arcane means should shake the disease by tomorrow, please give a hoot as I'd prefer Monday if possible.

Edit: Crap, forgot about an appointment on Thursday. How about Friday at 19.00 CET?

OK Barm, time to see if your prophecy on loosing some positionals will come true. Here are my OK starting times for the week (CET/GMT+1):
- Monday 17-20
- Wednesday 18-21
- Thursday 17-21
- Friday 18-22
Sat & Sunday - will add times later if nescessary.

Wednesday/Thursday would be preferred as I'm battling flu and at the moment it looks like I might still be a bit under the weather on Monday.

Matches / NUL Match Day 2 - Matches
March 11, 2012, 02:11:32 PM
All righty, here are the matchups for the second day:

Dragon Trainers may have hard time finding something to bring home to their dragons, considering dragons tend to prefer virgin maidens and those dastardly handsome Virgins No More are notorious for leaving no virgins behind on their travels. Disorganized Dudes have a good chance of upsetting Midget Stuntmen, as everybody knows that good stunts are well-prepared and there's no room for disorganization. Vinterlegionen will try to see if the green of the Orkitis B.C. will suffer from the northern cold. And finally, it's all interracial elf-on-elf action in the game between the Elvish Blues Bloods and Druchii Smuchii Schmoo.

Elvish Blues Brothers proudly present their lates hit single:

VINTERLEGIONEN BLUES

When you have these blues
And there's some norse, oh boy, you're 'bout to lose
But still you gotta try to keep away from the noose.

I say, all game every way, rain kept the sun down
And my high'n'mighty elfs kept on getting blocked down
And my high'n'mighty elfs kept on getting knocked down
And my blues blooded elfs kept on going out and down.

I rolled 'n fumbled, I skulled whole game long
Yes I rolled 'n fumbled, I made ones whole game long
I got up this morning, feeling that something was going wrong

Man my catcher baby, great god he's mighty and tall
You know my catcher baby, great god my baby he's tall
But they fouled my baby and he weren't no more tall
And they fouled my baby and he went hurt from the fall
But I'm still crazy 'bout him, that hard hit catcher of mine

Got so disgusted
When I tried and passed
Little by little
My passes dropped so I could see
Bit by bit
My passes kept slipping away from me

Sweet little game, got burned down, ain't that bad
Yeah you know I had a sweet little plan, it got burned down, ain't that bad
Whoa you know you can't spend what you ain't got,
You can't lose some little win you ain't never had.

Had ball in the hand, I got busted, ain't that just bad
Had pass in the mind, I got busted, ain't that just bad
You can't spend what you ain't got,
Uou can't lose some little win you ain't never had

Ain't that the truth boys.

Coaches comments: Gnaarkills Vinterlegionen beat my EBB's 2-0 with sime mighty fine gaming. The game started with a rain and it kept on raining all of the game. I almost managed to stop the norse from scoring in the first half and managed even to take the ball away while being 2 helfs down but then a Norse Werewolf made a spectacular interception and after some struggle the Werewolf even managed to score at the end of first half. I started the second half 3 helfs down as Gnaarkill had managed to foul out my catcher and KO two helfs. Crowd tried to help me by badly hurting one of the linenorse with a rock at kick-off but then my helfs decided to picking up a wet ball and actually throwing it wasn't worthy enough for them. There was also some poor helf dodging and when couple helfs got KO'd in rapid succession, the game was practically over. Every helf who made it to Vinterlegionen half of the field went down and soon I was swarmed by the norse. Ball came out finally and Gnaarkill had no trouble scoring although I managed to take the ball away once. But looking at the bright side, I didn't go home totally empty-handed as I finished the game with 1 SPP from passing! Great game from Gnaarkill. Thanks again for not killing any of my helfs :)

NUL Season 6! / BLOOD SPORTS SPOTLIGHT
March 08, 2012, 06:55:51 PM
OPENING MAGICAST SPECTACULAR FOR NUL SEASON 6

- Who's bad, who's rad, who's cool, who's fool.... No, that's not good... Maybe something rhyming with Gron... Let's see, spawn, swan, yawn...
- Mr. Gron! We're on!
- On fire you mean! We're smoking hot Nippy! Did you see the article on the pentden? And on the playtroll? They said we're the best new thing in magicasting since...
- No, the magicast is on! We're broadcasting!
- ....hm... Ahem... WELCOME YA ALLLLL! Some starting humor there, totally intentional, I swear. Well folks, I'm Gron Grumbundy and the magicast you're listening to is Blood Sports Spotlight! We're back from our short hiatus and you know what that means! Yes siree! We have us a brand spanking new season of Norsca Union League or NUL ahead of us! With me today in studio, is the CEO of the Gourmet Delicates Authentic With Fish'n'chippy Liver and a former linebeast for the Khorny's Favorites, welcome Bull Dureggs!
- Thank you Gron, it's a pleasure to be here to be representing GDAWFL Corp and NUL.
- It's a pleasure to have you here Bull. We'll get to your magnificent corporation and NUL in just a moment. First I'd like to ask you a question that has been bothering me for some time. Why did you only play for one season of Blood Bowl? You were spectacular! I can't remember anyone who has almost died on the field as many times as you! I mean the time you impaled your own butt with your horns while trying to blitz Slippery McSquee, that was as acrobatic as I've ever seen! Or the time you slipped on your tongue and whiplashed your head so violently that your neck broke while playing against the rare all-female elfin team Wardrobe Malfunctions. You clearly had some serious natural entertainment talents!
- Well Gron, I have to admit that I would've liked to play a bit more. But you know our team only went as Khorny's Favorites for one season...
- Yep, zero wins, 16 losses and 181 casualties against you if I recall correctly.
- Sounds about right... Yes, during the off-season the team changed name to Khorne's Favorites and made some restructuring moves based on some clerical advice. They say that there was a message from below that if the individual who registered the team name would ever step on the Blood Bowl field, Khorne would pop his head like a corn stalk. So it can be said that I was forced out because of typographic error.
- I see, well that probably also explains why the Khorne's Favorites went undefeated the next season and scored a whopping 666 casualties during the season. I'm saying that casualty record won't be broken ever, considering that there were at least three games where all of the opposing team was taken off of the field with horrendous injuries and then they would mysteriously regenerate with horrible mutations so that they could get on the field and be again pummeled into a pulp. Just think of the game against Jolly Halfling's, some of those small folks must've come back alive six times. In the end it looked like the Khorne's Favorite were playing against horned and tailed octopus team instead of halflings.
- Highly entertaining season yes.
- Well, let's get back to business! The reason you're here is that your corporation... By the way, I've always wondered, what does the title CEO mean?
- Well, in GDAWFL Corp I'm the Chief Executing Officer. I basically make sure that everything we sell is dead if it's supposed to be.
- Oh yes, makes sense. Well, you're corporation has struck a sponsorship deal with NUL for the league's sixth season. Can you tell us what this sponsorship deal means in practice?
- Yes of course. First of all, as we in GDAWL specialize in producing fine delicates for the gourmet-minded Ogre and Troll who have a taste for fish, NUL will be playing the regular season games in two groups that are named Sharks and Tunas. We'll be also serving our most popular product during all the games. I'm of course talking about our Double Fish'n'Chip Dip! The only fish'n'chip serving where chips are guaranteed to be authentic granite chips! No cheap rock slate chips in our products, no sir!
- Well, that's interesting. But let's get into the real business of Blood Bowl now, and that's the teams and players! As Bull noted, the league has been divided into two groups. The teams playing in the Sharks group are the chaos Disorganized Dudes, norse Dragon Trainers, dwarfen Midget Stuntmen and the high-elf team Virgins No More. Dudes, Trainers and Stuntmen played their first season last year but the Virgins No More are a bit older team that played last in the fourth season of NUL and is now making a comeback. What do you think of this group Bull, any clear favorites?
- Yes, the high-elfs are the clear-cut favorites in the casualties against although they could get some competition from the norse team in getting maimed. But the elfs are so talented with the ball-handling that I don't think they'll be hindered by injuries. And the Trainers are hard to bring down and they're getting quite skilled sneakily quiet!
- What about the Stuntmen? I'm thinking they could be in contention, they were very tough to beat last season, if they can turn their draws into wins, they could be going. Maybe not very fast nor very high, but couldn't they take the trophy?
- Don't be foolish Gron. There's a chaos team in this group, the Dudes will rule! I mean you never know what happens in chaos games! A volcano could erupt and engulf the opposing team! Although I'd only expect something as drastic as that one if there were news of a nun convent being found slaughtered just before pre-game.
- Ahh, you're right there! Well, let's take a look at the Tunas group. In this group we have the last year's champions, the dark-elven Druchii Smuchii Schmoo and the team that fought the darkies until the last rounds, the orkish Orkitis B.C. And then we have the two new interesting rookie teams, the high-elven Elvish Blues Bloods and the norse Vinterlegionen. How do you see this group going Bull?
- The rookie teams will have it tough but the norse team will have a bit better chances with all those traditional norse blocking skills. Do you know that norse children go running into full bear barrels just as soon as they learn to walk – or run I should say - and that's where they learn their blockings kills?
- I've heard that one, I also heard that the reason they keep running and the reason they keep hitting those barrels is that instead of breast-feeding the little buggers their mothers give the infants a pint of ale once an hour. Only the mild stuff of course. They say that the one's that can handle all the ale and are agile enough to run around the barrels become runners.
- Yes Gron, the norse are tough bunch but there are even tougher teams in this group. Orcs are always dangerous and durable and this Orkitis team  has some nice positional players.
- What about the elven teams Bull, any chances?
- The DSS are the champs, so I'm betting that the EBB will be chumps. Just too short of the season for the rookie high-elf team to make an impact. But he DSS have skill and experience. But I should think that the veteran team that wins the first round in this group will take the group.
- Oh, the matchups! In the Tunas the two rookie teams will play against each other and, as you hinted, the DSS will host Orkitis B.C. In the Sharks group Virgins No More host Midget Stuntmen and Dragon Trainers get a visit from Disorganized Dudes. What's your take on the matches Bull?
- I'd think the most interesting matchup is the DSS versus Orkitis. They were the top teams last season and the DSS unexpectedly whupped Orkitis physically in their last game. I'm eager to see if the orcs have recovered and which team will be the most physical. As to the rookie teams, EBB has players that have natural talent but no skills. Vinterlegionen has it vice versa, they have lots of skills but average talent. It'll be interesting to see which will be more important in this matchup.
- Nice analysis Bull. Well, what about the Sharks. I should think that the high-elfs are playing against the worst possible opponent for their team as are the dwarfs. This might sound ridiculous but I think the Virgins-Stuntmen matchup is just that. You're take on this Bull?
- You might be right Gron. The tackling dwarfs are a thorn in every elven players butt and I don't mean that figuratively. But the high- and fast-flying high elf catchers are also the hardest for the dwarfs to control. It'll be agility versus fists.
- Not so in the other matchup. It'll be pure fisting!
- Some horns might also come into play, especially if the Dragon Trainers play in the traditional horn helmets. The Disorganized Dudes have the horns au natural, naturally. But the chaos team will take it surely.
- I don't agree Bull, I think the Trainers are eager to prove themselves and will win.
- You're a fool Gron! It's all about physical play and those norse just can't take hits as well as beastmen and warriors!
- Well it's also about ball-handling and those beastieboys really can't handle the ball with the hooves, can't they? And what about the balls hitting the horns and exploding! That's the number one reason for delay of games. Chaos players just don't use their heads when they play!
- BEASTIEBOY?! I'll show the difference between beastieboy and a true Khårne Beastman! WAARG.... Wait, I meant Khorne... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGHHH!
- WHAT A MOVE! I HOPE YOU COULD'VE SEEN THIS ONE DEAR LISTENERS! Bull Dureggs just tried to tackle me with a full-horned blitz but for some reason he slipped, did a backwards summersault while his upper torso twisted right and his legs left and when he hit the floor, he twisted his neck and plummeted his head straight into his.. his... ...am...
- Tooshie?
- No Nippy, we can't say that in the magicast. Bull's head got stuck in his rectal areas, that's it. Amazingly it seems he's still alive. Boy, that was amazing! I wish he would still play, no one injured himself better than him. Well, cart him to the doctors Nippy, I'll finish up.
- Sure thing Boss.
- That's it from the very first Blood Sports Spotlight for sixth season of NUL – the league that we all love and follow. We'll be back later with results from the first round. I've been Gron Grumbundy and I wish you bloody good Blood Bowling week! Have a week!

NUL Season 5! / Re: Blood Sports Spotlight
February 26, 2012, 05:33:09 PM
NUL SEASON ENDING REVIEW BONANZA SPECTACULAR

- WELCOME! The sultry voice you're listening right now belongs to Gron Grumbundy, that's me, and the reason you're listening to me is probably that either you're a female and the understandably attracted to my voice or that you're interested in the toughest, the most brutal and the flashiest Blood Bowl league out there. I'm of course talking about Norsca Union League! NUL just finished its fifth season and we have lots to tell and comment about the subject. You might've notice that we've had bit of an erratic schedule lately. I apologize for this fact, the reason is the unfortunate rat infestation. You see, it seems that the opening of the new cheese factory last month attracted quite a lot of skaven tourism to our fine city and the landlord of our humble magicast studios decided to rent out our studio building as a temporary motel to our furry friends. However, as our landlord started his new fur and dog-food business, the situation has surprisingly eased and we got our studios back. But enough of the chit-chat, let's get down to business of chit-chatting about the important stuff! Today we have no special guests, as we decided we have enough expertise with our regular contributors, the coffee-boy extraordinaire, Nippy, and our resident statshound Gall'p Keines! Welcome lads!
- Thank you mr. Grumbundy!
- Errmm... thanks mr Gron... But I thought we didn't have no guests cause of that stuff you said about Blood Bowl players at the magicast producers' gala last week. Ya know, about all of them being more stupid than the love child of a Troll and a rock and most of just as ugly and that...
- Shut up Nippy. I was drunk as a skunk in the dwarfish-norse wedding... Erm, I mean, that those are just nasty rumors, that is not factual. And we're here to talk about the cold hard facts! And one very special fact is that we have a new NUL Champion. Yes siree, the dark elf team Druchii Smuchii Schmoo were stole the championship with an impressive 9-1-1 and a whopping positive 14 TD differential! Impressive numbers don't you think Gall'p?
-  Well mr. Grumbundy, considering that there were 11 games, they needed to score just 1 and 2727 to infinity more touchdowns per match than their opponent so I don't consider that statistically significant number considering that they allowed only 6 touchdowns all season which I consider to be more impressive feat than the 20 touchdowns that they scored as their scoring average is 1 and  8181 to infinity touchdowns per match when the golden standard and magic limit is considered to be 2 tds but their defensive average of allowed touchdowns is 0 and 5454 to infinity touchdowns which is very close to the magical 0 point 50 limit. So from this we can calculate that...
- Shut up Gall'p. You're making my head hurt. What I gathered from your "analysis" is that the darkies were damn good at stopping their opponents from scoring. You know, it just came to me that, if you replaced the number parts in your analyses with either "damn good" or "as lowly as a floor of a dwarf's cellar", you really might have something going there. Well, speaking of lowly, let's get us some information about the word on the streets. Nippy, what do your folks and friends think about the DSS's impressive championship run?
- Mmmm... Well, my dad called it.... He said that either those darkie bastards or some of those chaos crooks will rocket in the standings when he heard that Ms. Chastity's school for Virgin Maidens of Fair Complexion had burned down with all of the student's in it.
- Oh yes, I remember that one. Weren't there rumors that they found quite a large number of ceremonial daggers forged out of elfish iron from the ruins... or rather from the rib cages of the bodies? Yes, if I recall correctly, it happened just after the DSS had lost to Space Cheese on the second round... You know Nippy, your dad seems to be more astute than you make out him to be! Any more interesting comments from your neighborhood?
- Erm.. not really.... Well, my pal Whizzy-Pissy said that DSS's new witch-elf... well he calls them vixen-elfs...Whissy-Pissy that is... isn't quite as hot as Evelyn but she'll do because it really isn't a pussy galore in NUL this year.
- ...Quite a man of words that friend of yours... Well, he hinted there of course to DSS's star player Eviscerating Evilyn who died in the match against the Disorganized Dudes. That was the dark elfs only casualty but they did have some crippling injuries that forced them to revamp their blitzer corps during the season but that didn't seem to slow this fine team down! And as we're speaking of injuries, this is a fine spot to look at the death totals of the season. There were total of 18 permanent casualties. Teams that suffered the most were Dragon Trainers, Shining Sins and Space Cheese, as all of them lost three players during the season. No surprises there, as those are also the teams playing with the thinnest armors. What was more surprising was that the Fasta Stronga Betta only lost two snotlings during the season. And at the other end of the specter, Gentlemen Wolf-Whistlers and Orkitis B.C. were the only teams that didn't have to entertain the grim reaper. Whistlers' probably because most of their players are already dead and Orkitis... well, they're orcs. There's a reason why they don't serve orc steak in fine restaurants, nobody could chew something as tough as that. ...And maybe the green color would turn some people away. All right, let's move onto cheerier subjects. Gall'p, can you give us a quick breakdown of the individual stats leaders?
- Of course Mr. Grumbundy! Starting with the scoring, the run-away winner, literally, of that category was the dwarf Algrid of the Midget Stuntmen with 9 touchdowns. The deceased Miss. Evilyn shares the second place with Kailduil Aldavathar of the Shining Sins. It should be no surprise that Alglid was also the best rusher with 564 yards, Thisnogors of the Disorganized Dudes and Harquas of the BuzcaBass were second and third respectively with over 300 yards.
- Hold it right there Gall'p. Are you saying that we had two dwarfs in the top three of runners in the league? How can that be? That much of a running with those short legs and beards tucked away under their belt so that they don't fall down? Where are all of the elfs?
- Well Mr. Grumbundy, the stats category where most, or in fact all of the top players are elfs, is the times knocked down... I agree that it is rather surprising that we don't have any DSS players in this category but that is probably due to the fact that they got a decent amount of output from all of their players, as an example, they had three players with 3 touchdowns, Lou the Lizard Liquidator, Captain Chris Cruelty and Terry, Torturer of Trolls. Same with running. No outstanding players - except for the late Miss. Evilyn of course - just a bunch really skillful core players and exceptional coaching.
- All right, all right. Seems reasonable. But enough of the skills categories, what about the interesting stuff, who were the biggest and baddest players out there?
- Ahm yes, Mr. Grumbundy. Well, the most effective brute out there was Kurmak the Numa Un from FSB with 10 casualties, Anchalagon of the BuzcaBass, Khizz of Space Cheese and Rokzig of the Orkitis B.C. were on close pursuit with 8 casualties. Kurmak also knocked down most opponents, 35. Rokzig made it to third in this category with 32 knock-downs. Second place in knock-downs went to Phlegma the Fierce of the Dragon Trainers. Dragon Trainers also occupied the top of the killer category with two players that scored 2 clean kills. The players in question were Ruffnut and Fishlegs. Trainers' Phlegma the Fierce also had 1 kill which is interesting as this means that the Dragon Trainers scored 5 kills and also suffered 3 kills. So we had 8 deaths or near-deaths in the Dragon Trainers' matches!
- Interesting, I wonder if their season tickets for next season are already available... Well done Gall'p, finally some interesting stats! But let's take a break from the numbers and stuff. Nippy, give us a witty comment here!
- ... ... ... erm... my mom always says that Blood Bowl is like a box of chocolates from the Mr. McTasties Treats and Rat poison Corporation, you never know whose going to die...
- And there he goes! That's not just witty Nippy, it's also factual, the chances of getting the bad chocolate really shot up after McTasties merged their rat poison and chocolate factories! Speaking of chances, Gall'p, I understand you had put up some kind of theory about the luck of the NUL teams this season?
- Thank you Mr. Grumbundy, yes, I analyzed all the failures and successes in skill performances and also ratio of injuries to knock-downs, measured it against the calculated mean and thus got the numerical that demonstrate if an individual team has succeeded above or below the theoretical average!
- ...Boss, I think Gall'p went cookoo...
- That's seems to be really accurate analysis of the situation, Nippy. We better humor him, you never know what these cooks can do... All Right Gall'p! I'll bite, what does all that mean?
- Well Mr. Grumbundy. In the skill performances, no team averaged below the calculated average that is to say that combining all of the games, no team could be said to have had bad luck. However, if we look at the average skills succession that was 4,14 percent, that means that on average teams had a luck of 4,14 percent in skills related performances like ball-handling and dodging. The teams that scored well below this average were the Crunch Masters with 0,22 and Space Cheese with 1,35, all the other teams were quite close to the average.
- So you're saying that orcs and skaven can't dodge or throw the ball?
- No, no Mr. Grumbundy, it just means that they performed less effectively than they should have  based on the average number of the league so they could be considered to have had so called bad luck on skill performances. And if we look at the ratio of the injuries to knock-downs, the average of the league was 1,33 meaning that there were only1,33 percent more casualties than there should've been mathematically throughout the league! There were 4 teams had negative average in this category, Dragon Trainers -2,83, Disorganized Dudes -2,35, Bloody Gorers -1,27 and Crunch Masters -0,48!
- But didn't you just say that Dragon Trainers were good at killing? I'm getting confused here Gall'p.
- Yes, they did score lots of kills but on average they should've scored 2,83 percent more casualties! At the opposite end of the specter FSB had a injury ratio of 13,48, meaning that they should've scored 13,48 percent less casualties for instance statistically Numak should've scored only 8,4 casualties instead of 10 that he did!
- But Ogres are good at scoring casualties! Never mind, you told me earlier that statistically there were no drastically unlucky teams?
- Yes Mr. Grumbundy. The unluckiest team had a combined average deviation from the combined average of skills and injury performance of just -0,26 percent, that would be Crunch Masters. That is of course the average, there were quite a number individual games where the results deviated from the average greatly. The biggest negative deviations were the Crunch Masters -30,9 in their week 10 match against the Dragon Trainers and BuzcaBass' -29,44 in their week 1 match against the SpaceCheese.
- Wait a minute Gall'p... But the BuzcaBass won that game and Crunch Masters tied! You're making no sense!
- Yes, Mr. Grumbundy, based on the results, it seems that the deviation should be somewhat over 33 percent for the deviation to have a clear measurable positive or negative effect. For example the biggest positive deviations were Orkitis B.C.'s +37,64 against Space Cheese in week 7 where Orkitis won 2-1, BuzcaBass' +35,74 against Disorganized Dudes where BuzcaBass won 1-0 and Space Cheese's +33,79 against Wolf-Whistlers in week 9 where Space Cheese won 3-1. The fourth biggest deviation was FSB's +30,07 against Orkitis in week 4 which was a 1-1 tie. And there are of course signs or long-term correlation of the statistics against results, for example Dragon Trainers's first 5 games all had a negative total deviation and we all saw how poorly they started.
- All right Gall'p, you're officially gone cookoo now with your numbers. Take the rest of the day off. Here take this coupon, it's for the Madame Smoochers' Lounge of Lizard-Tongued Pleasurers. 2 treatments for the price of one. That should get those numbers out of your head. And now get going! Nippy, say something sane and witty fast before this magicast is officially ruined!
- ...erm... Something sane and witty?
- HAHA! You crack me up Nippy! There you go again saving the day with the old say something routine! Unfortunately Gall'p rants ate up so much of our air-time that we have to finish up soon. So I guess I'll go on a rant of my own and try to recap the season 5 of NUL. Here goes. Well, the DSS were the runaway champs, they put up a really impressive season. The second place Orkitis gave the DSS a good run for their money, the week 10 match between the top teams could've turned the tables fast. FSB and Midget Stuntmen finished third and fourth both with 17 points and both with a strategy of being hard to beat, both of them only lost 2 games. BuzcaBass and Gentlemen Wolf-Whistlers both started out strong but finished fifth and sixth after starting to slip at the end. Crunch Masters and Dragon Trainers did the things vice versa and ended up on the seventh and eight slots. Chaos teams Bloody Gorers and Disorganized Dudes had difficult seasons as did the injury riddled Space Cheese and Shining Sins but all of these teams also scored impressive wins from the top teams. Overall we had a mighty fine and entertaining season! Both on the field and here on the studio. But now we have to go, hope to see all of you next season! I've been Gron Grumbundy and I wish we bloody good blood bowl week! We're out!

All right, here's the season ending BSS finally. Sorry for the lack of updates during the last weeks, job and running have been eating all of my time lately and they're both as hungry as halflings.

Oolrait Konna, looks like we're up. Here are my OK starting times for the week (Finnish/GMT+2 times):
Tue 18-20
Wed 21-22 Update: changed the Wednesday times due to a previous appointment.
Thu 18-20 Update: No go on Thurdsay, just remembered that I'll be at a hockey game.
Sat 13->
Sun 13-19

Let me know if any of these suits you, sir.

Hey sorry for the late answer. I'm available this evening and if that fails sunday. I'll log in around nine in case you catched this.

No problems, this evening is OK and I should be online somewhere around nine. But don't give up if I don't show up right away, I'm leaving for home around 20 and normally I'd be home well before 21 but it's a bit snowy which might slow me a bit. I'll post here from my mobile if I'll get extremely delayed.

The Gentlemen Wolf-Whistlers as a club and all of the club's members and trainer of the club's physical activities would hereby like to congratulate the champion of the NUL's 6th season, Druchii Smuchii Schmoo. Winning any kind of championship requires skill, speed, endurance, intellect, courage, pure and brave heart, wisdom and bravado but it can also be done with aggression, violence, deceit and cunning as the DSS has proven. We hope that the championship has satisfied the will of Khaine and none of the DSS players have to be sacrificed after the season. Gratulations once again to all the players of the championship association and their fine trainer!

Sign Up! / Re: Season 6 will start here!

OK, I'm in for the season 6. BUT as a warning I can't guarantee that I'll be able to play after March 31th due to the reason I mentioned in the earlier post (I'm running the marathon in Boston and will be in the States all of April). My laptop seems to handle the game OK, but I don't know if the Internet connection will be up to standards (and even if the connection is good enough, I probably won't be able to make the port forwards so I can't host games) so there's a risk of me dropping out in the middle of season. For this reason, if there is going to be two higher/lower divisions, I'm willing to start on the lower division so that I won't disturb the championship race.

I haven't still decided if I'll continue with the Wolf-Whistlers or if I manage to tempt the Cougar Kittens back into the action after the beat-down that NattBowlarna gave them at the S4 finals.

UPDATE: Just popped into my mind that if there are so many new players / new teams that they can form a division of their own, I might start with a new team also, something elfish, and play in the rookie division.
