All righty folks, it looks like we have a Grand Slam as a league type instead of championship due to some client issues. This means that we setup should be as follows: 1) Regular season which we just played, followed by 2) Cup matches and finally 3) playoffs. What this means is that every team gets three additional cup matches before the playoffs IF the client setup doesn't surprise us again.
If anybody has any trouble with this setup, let us know and we'll see what we can do. Otherwise, we shall play the cup matches and then it's on to the playoffs!

PS. Are any of you Swedes out there from Stockholm? I'm going to the big S next weekend to run the marathon and I was wondering if there are any good gaming stores / comic book stores out there that I should visit? I know about the Comics Heaven in Gamla stan and I'll be sure to visit it again. I was just wondering if there are any good stores that I don't know about and I thought to tap you for the information :)

Not sure about this but it seems that the groups are sorted based on Team Value once again. The ones with the highest TV in the other and the lowest in the other group. So basically Dragon Trainers went past my Wolf-Whistlers in team value and rose to the "sharks" group.

Thursday and Friday evening (19-21 CEST start) are my best times, with Saturday evening (18+) and Sunday (11-13/20-21) as options.

Sounds good. Turns out 18 is probably too early for me Wednesday though, so hopefully you are able to start 20 or later. I will probably be able to make 19, not sure yet.

I would prefer thursday but since plans sometimes change, lets go for wednesday at 19 and have thursday in reserve.

Hey Gnaarkill, just so you know, I'm finishing some stuff and I still don't know if I'll be able to make it on time. Worst case scenario I'll be 15 minutes late, I hope you can wait for me :D

Morg n' Thorg stepped onto the pitch to help Gnaarkill and his team and made quite a difference, but it wasn't enough to counter the orcs' superior experience and skillset. Early injuries (first one in the first block of the match) made it easy for the orcs to secure the ball both in their offensive drive and their defensive drive, finishing the match with a 2-0 result. Out of the 5 casualties that the norse team suffered, 4 were badly hurts and 1 was a death, but the apothecary showed his expertise by completely healing the player. Morg n' Thorg suffered the consequences of bullying around for the whole match and was Knocked Out by a 8 man foul right before the whistle. Serves him right!
Well played Gnaarkill, there was such a TV difference that not even Morg could balance it out. He's a fearsome rival though, it's been nice and different playing with him on the pitch.

Golden arrow takes it, 2-1, after a solid piece of stalling in the 2nd half. One would think a chaos team could put pressure on the ball, but seems like it didn't work out :D

Yeah, it was a fun game, finally the game worked out like I had planned it :)
I managed to put up enough pressure that Kvasi had to score turn 7 and then elfed in a score. Second half I got the ball past his team and caged around the end zone in one corner and managed to hold there for like 3-4 turns. Then I walked it in on turn 7 and he only had two turns to score which is not good new to a chaos team.

But yeah, it was definently not impossible.
Yesterday Getingarna lost against the Wolf-Whistlers 1-2.
The match started out quite badly for me but it got better and at the end I was happy again.
I started as receiver and managed to get hold of the ball and build a big cage, but then the wolves started to play
T1: My mercenary ogre got badly hurted
T2: My Star Player got KO'ed
T3: After some skulls and failed dodges from me it was easy for the wolves to grab the ball
T4: A ghoul scored a TD and will level
Note to myself: Not a good idea to try to get through in the center against flesh golems and zombies.
New drive for me and I manage to find a hole in the defence and get within TD distance but a slight miscalculation from my side left a cage with only 3 corner's and naturally I lost the ball. After that no one got hold of the ball for the rest of the half.
Note to myself: Right flank worked ok but needs to remember how to build a proper cage. A.k.a. BB 101
Second half the wolves scored their TD as planned (by them) but I managed to pressure them to do it early (mainly by a stunning 5 desperate and succeesful dodges in the same turn to reposition my players) and a turned back clock made it at least possible in theory to draw for me.
Note to myself: Need to find a better way to hold of the offence than desperate dodges
On my third drive of the match I managed to get past on the left side and score a 2-turn TD.
Note to myself: Flanks are good against a slow team, it gives local superiority in numbers
Three turns left of the match and I tried to get hold of the ball quite desperately but failed and so the match ended. Got 10 SPP and one blitzer will level. It feels nice to be able to develop the team.

Well, if I hadn't been forced to use my RR to clear a path through on the right flank (and I wouldn't if I didn't have to make a desperate play because of the PD), I would still at least have an RR for throwing with the AG4 beast :)

1st half I couldn't get any of your guys out and was caught way out of position by a snake eyes dodge, which you exploited to effectively shut me out from the game entirely. The 2nd half blitz! didn't help, but the way you stopped my consolation score was truly masterful. Good game and a well deserved win, B! That ag4/mv7/dodge guy is just SO great on a bashy team, you'd better keep him safe (*cough* This is your cue, Golden *cough*).
