Hakos, time for the final match day!

I can play Thursday and Friday evening, as well as probably most of the weekend as it looks right now (except Sunday evening). How does your calendar look?

Thursday is a no-go. Otherwise your times work fine for me. How about saturday afternoon, 14 or 15? Not looking forward to meeting your casuality specialist team, especially not after being out cas'ed by goblins.

I just realized Saturday might be a bit difficult, but could you do Sunday at around the same time? About 1400 for example?

Don't really know why I've gotten so many casulties, but Killy Turner seems to have a knack for finding weak spots :D

Yo Lars, it's time for your chaos folks to get to listen some nice da'pop instead of all the chaos punk-funk they're listening normally. So how about following CET start times?
- Wednesday 17-22
- Thursday 16-20
- Sunday all day until 20

Let me know if any of those suits you, sir. Might have some time on late Saturday also but not sure about the exact time as I'm having friends over late afternoon.

Hey Luiggi!

Time to hit the chainsaw and bath in snotblood :)
Who will be this seasons chump-team?

The board of the OKWF are on the fringe to hand in the liquidation form, but CEO Gnaarkill are working tiredlessly to convince the board to go for another season. After 9 straight losses, 20 touchdowns against and only 1 for, this will be a hard task for Gnaarkill to achieve. Time and skill will tell if the OKWF will be ready to go for the next season or not.
The negotiations starts right after the last match for the season has been played.

My ok starting times are as follow:
Wednesday: 21.00-22.00
Thursday: 21.30-22.00
Friday: 21.00-00.00
Saturday: 12.00-14.00
Sunday: 12.00-14.00 and 19.00-22.00
Monday: 21.00-22.00

Hey Golden, time to throw down with the Boots!

This week I'm getting visitors so I can really only play tonight (starting 18-21) or Thursday (19-21). If that doesn't work for you we'll have to look at next week.

Cheers!

OK, tonight should work actually. I think starting at 21 is preferable but I might be able to play earlier as well (between 20.30 and 21 probably). I'll let you know when it gets closer but aim for later probably.

So... If someone told me before the game that the rats would lead first half with 3-0 IN CASUALTIES, I would propably have had that person locked away for insanity...
Well, after this game I will believe anything!

A safe blitz in turn 1 against the Claw/MB skaven blitzer, with Reroll into dubbel-skull, kind of set the vibe for this game...
The dwarf that threw himself on some razorsharp claws almost died, but got away with "only" a broken neck!

After that the rats pushed forward, but the sneaky dwarfs kind of made it around the furry wall and managed to score in turn 7.
Though they lost 2 players in the process...
Then the rats had 2 turns to score, but as usual they can't seem to handle the ball when they are excited, so they totally failed...

Second half the rats did what rats do against slow and stunty bearded men. They run around them in circles and then the run for the end zone!
So, the dwarves had 5 or so turns to slowly win this game, but again the blocking and damaging did not go their way, and the high speed of the cheese-lovers made them all disoriented, so they lost the ball.

In a final attempt to win, the dodgy runner in Beerbellys blitzed the ballcarrying rat, jumped right in front of another Gutter Runner, and picked up the ball! (5+... Pouring rain and a Tacklezone...)
But the joy was not longlived, cause passing the ball was not that easy with rain and fur in his eyes, so he dropped it behind him instead...
Which gave Edmund Emmenthaler (yeah, the runner with AG5 and Leap, and the most experienced player in Season 18!) the moment he needed to just grab the ball and score the winning TD!

In the last turn, the last two Loners in WoC got sent out to the gutters, but that was way too late...

Thanx for the game, muller! Sorry about the casualties, but someone must have slipped something in my fondue!

Well that was pretty ridiculous. Nuffle had his bag of 1s wide open and was generously giving out to both teams although the DW All Stars got a little more than the Boots. Lot of crazy stuff going on but in the dying moments of the game a wizard finally saw fit to save the day and ultimately gave the Boots the win.

Thanks for the match, Golden. See you in the PO?

I actually enjoy playing the ogres very much. Have had some though luck in recent games though. But they are also very hard to handle.
So I will actually keep them for the next season... though i shouldn't have said that, cause now im ahead of my own flavour text ;)

When Da Beatmores get their groove on, the groove is really on. Lasseman had no chance in this game with him rolling pushbacks and skulls against my pows. I also got two early injuries, one against a dwarf on the first turn. And it seems Elvis the Minotaur wasn't too keen on going against Fab Four as he seemed to only roar wildly like an animal on the field. This was nuffling of a game but Lasseman kept his cool and acted like a gentleman, so creds to him. Thanks again for the game and good luck in next season!

If you're wondering about the reporter that has been following Da Beatmores on their tour and the lack of his reporting lately, it would seem that the reporter in question has struck gold with a find that might just get published in near future. Stay tuned.

Vamps won...
Which was not so strange as both sides was Vamps.. so..

Anyhow, Kez was having trouble with Nuffle today..
Wiz fizzled, Regen did not work (0/3) and last turns there were only three dudes to put on the field..
And receiving high kick at that timing was also quite bad.. as no one could leave the front line..

But Kez never dropped his head down.. he kept going and I hope to see you next season as well Kez.

Luiggi, where are you m8!?

Seems the gobbos are lost in the mountain pass somewhere between Ostermark and the Ogre Kingdoms. The Ogres has sent out a search and rescue party to try and save the poor little green ones. It would be fatal for the OKWF to miss this match since the board are considering a liquidation of the team. Accordning to the board a walk over would mean shit to them. OKWF really has to prove their worth in the last match of the season.
Rumours say that the gobdogs was taken as hostages by the Kauppaopiston Opet and led to the great halls of the BeerBellyz. Because a win for the OKWF would mean that the vamps would drop one position in the rankings and the Ogres would finish in an honorble 10th place instead of last .
Ofcourse all this may only be ogre propaganda. But as time passes the chances for a match are getting more slim and CEO Gnaarkill stated: " I know we are playing in a fare league but this is more than just a coincidence ".

The last match of the regular season has been played, and the Phins have it in an SPP-frenzy! A quick count indicates three players on each side gained a level after this one.

THE LEGENDS OF BLOOD BOWL, ISSUE NUL18:11

The player groans in pain, the apothecary shakes his head and can't do anything while the coach starts to read the job wanted ads to find the replacement. Or, maybe not? After a total of 66 matches played, 26 players have got a permanent damage but only 13 of them have been fired. What is the secret to be able to continue to play with a broken neck, smashed ankle or broken collarbone?

Well, sometimes the injury simply doesn't matter. Who needs extra agility or speed if your job is to stand next to another guy, at the front line? Some reduced armor for a chaos dwarf? Well it hardly matters if you have armor 8 or 9 with such a thick skull.

But the finest example of the right damage at the right time surely was showed by OKWF today. An Ogre with a broken neck? No problem, 0 agility is not allowed due to laws of physics. A snotling with reduced strength? Not possible, would break the same law. That is professional wrestling. Serious injuries, but ready to play again in no time.

#13, Value 150, 'Sandalf the wise' is the fourth player to be recognized as an emerging star. He did it by severely hurting two opponents in today's match. With that he helped the boots to secure a play-off ticket and was naturally awarded the most valuable player award for his team.

#39, Value 120, 'Mean mr. Mustard' seems to be a late achiever. For 9 matches he did nothing, except getting a rather suspicious mvp award in day 4, there were whispers of bribes, nothing could be proven of course. But in the last two days he has managed to hurt an opponent in such ingenious ways that he was a clear winner of a double mvp award. Taking him to 3 in total. He is only the second player to manage that.

#4, Value 170, 'Looking Glass Knight' is a true work horse, steadily producing for her team (we assume it is a she, a he would not admire themselves in mirrors so much). In the last match, she shifted gear and managed to produce one touchdown, one pass and 2 casualties. Making her the fifth player to be officially recognized as an emerging star.

#20, Value 140, 'Killy Turner' continues to impress. With his second kill this season, a poor rookie elf thrower, he managed to reach 11 casualties in 11 days. With that, he has been able to gain some SPP in every match he has played. But he is even more unusual than that. He is also a saurus, with agility 1, that have managed to make not one but two touch downs this season. That is the mark of a future legendary player.

Unlucky, Yorkshire Terrier the Chainsawer didn't make it despite wreaking havoc in the ogre roster, breaking an ogre's neck, severing several snotlings and most importantly, scoring a touchdown in an amazing play. First he sawed the carrier in his own field, vacuumed the ball with the chainsaw intake funnel, proceeded to KO another snotling and scored the winning touchdown! He might not be a legend but he performed a feat that goblins will remember forever.

Other goblins were not as lucky, one of them died, crushed by an ogre. Nice hit! Another highlight of the game was Balldog the Fanatic injuring his own troll teammate, only to wander around the pitch for the remainder of the game, way to go, "champ".

BTW sorry for not posting earlier, my bad. GG Gnaarkill and good luck with your Ogres.

PS: nice write-ups, hakos.
