Tuesday is out of the window for me, got the teardown at Dreamhack then and I'll be home sometime latelate in the evening (and be half dead to boot). Best for me would be wednesday or thursday evening, after that it's off for midsummer celebrations again. Does either of those work for you?

And thus ends the streak of Nuffle favour for the squeakiest of goblins. Utterly humiliated by grinning skulls, snake eyes and prancing fairies from the wilds the Nomz had to refit their locker room to make room for more stretchers.
First half wasn't too bad and the greenskins stood up decently but past halftime silliness took hold and saw the goblins fall one by one - taking the lead of Morg'n Thorg that were dispatched out over the side of the pitch just before half time and decided to spend the rest of the match on a stretcher with a cold brew beside him instead of fighting it out.

Morale plummeted and the elves were able to continously dislodge and pick up the ball and ferry it off to the endzone and end the second half in a 3-0 rout to make the end result a whooping 4-0 to the long ears.

Anyway, I head off for vacation and a Dreamhack network build next week. We should hopefully have the internet working on tuesday but otherwise I'll let you know how the lay of the land is on monday if that's ok. The time is fine, should have downtime by then :P

And so the great stunty battle has been waged and the greener goblin squad managed to eke out a win after sacrificing more than a few halflings to Nuffle who looked kindly on the offering. So kindly in fact he was an utter bastard and sadistic fop towards the ogre team.
First half ended in a goalless draw when the goblins managed to stand up to the pummeling assault, earning themselves a fair number of KO's but no serious injuries and by the time half time came around the bloodweiser babes more than happily helped in rectifying the situation. All but one troll stood up to have their turn at returning the favour on the ogres.
Here's where Nuffle came in and made the second half ridiculous to the extreme. Successful rolls for the ogres could be counted using less than three fingers more or less and despite a heroic effort from Big Pharma's snotlings the goblins pushed through and managed to score a touchdown in their last turn after a gobbo running into a TZ, picking the ball up, doding out and throwing a long pass to his teammate past a pair of snotlings. With no hindrance left the smashies could wander into the ogres' end zone to seal the score.
A small consolation for the bigger brutes was that they transformed one gobbo head to pulp as well as getting their revenge on Morg'n Thorg who took up arms against his own kin.

A very onesided match overall that came down to the dice never rolling Barm's way basically ending in these stats:

Hear hear, the rejoicing in the gobbo camp is heard throughout the realms! At least their locker room, but it's the thought that counts. Main celebration took place because they actually managed to keep it together and score a few balls this time around.
We do suspect there's been some sabotaging of our little chainsaw but we will conduct a thorough investigation to get to the bottom of his so far sub-par performance. However, a bloody and entertaining match in the end finalized with a fair 2-2 score after some minor intervention from the judge that gave the fabulous greenskins an extra turn in the first half to score the first equalizer.
It looked hopeful for a while that they would be able to maintain their 2-1 lead but a controlled push by the ladies combined with too early celebrations causing a whole slew of chittering goblins to forget their armour in the locker room and being helped out there one by one by ladylike violence.

Thanks for the game Gnaar, enjoyed it a lot!

We have tried to contact Lady Organa, the Heroines quarterback and team leader, without success. It seems like the players are struggling and have a hard time to focus on their jobs. Most of them are just laying in the locker room, screaming at the staff. "Get more chocolate!"

We'll find out more as the season continues. Until then, play safe!

And so ends the debut of the smelly gobbos with a bit of a toot out Nuffle's bum. The lizards got to start and quicksnapp:ed and rolled over the lines to get a TD down in the 4th turn. Now it was the greenskins turn to show their mettle and throw themselves at the scaly opposition... and then this happened:



A pitch invasion that knocked out everything that was over 2 in strength and KO:ing the fanatic leaving three little poor guys to stop the onslaught. Through a miracle they managed to stop another TD in the half and held their quirky thumbs for better favor from the almighty Nuffle in the second half.

The fanatic continued his nap, a troll decided to join him after tripping over his own toes while trying to beat a skink into the ground and in the end the lizards managed to put down another ball in the greenskin endzone to produce this result:



Thanks for the match Kvasi, a fair result considering Nuffle tonight, at least no permanent casualties, best of luck in the future.
