How do you get the screenshot? Is that just manually dumping from the in-game view and cropping it, or is there some magic? Seems like any one of us could do it unless you're using some admin power magic :)

It's just as you guessed: First I summon either a divine aid or an infernal helper based on my current karma rating. Then the helper just goes in-game, Print Screens the schedule and then pastes the screen capture into my favourite graphics editor ja goes grazy with the cropper tool (infernal helpers tend to slash the picture into teeny-weeny bits so I prefer the divine aids). Then I just upload the pic into Photobucket (any online photo library with direct linking will do) and link it to the thread.
And yes, if the match day thread hasn't gone up in time, anybody who feels up to it can start the new thread.
Bantha in the near future i can play today wednesday from 1900 or anytime thursday or friday from 1900 or sunday from 2000. if none suits you we have to figure something out during next week.

So the Gobo vs Chaos match has been played. Due to a really big difference in team value the gobos was able to hire the star troll, morg and bribe the referee. The chaos team started with the ball and managed to KO a gobo and send out one of the trolls in the first couple of blocks, they also managed to secure the ball. After this the Gooblin team started to drift out towards one side of the pitch. The chaos team changed side and managed to go around the whole team and score around round 6. After the TD the goblins tried to do something good with the ball but the lack of rerolls made the run a bit short.
In the start of second half the gobos put a really strong gang on the pitch consisting of three trolls, morg, the ball and chain and the chainsaw guy. so this looked like it would be a blood bath. But Nuffles decsided that the chaos should do a blitz, the blitz sent the chainsaw gobo of the pitch with a injury. After that the gobos started to punch down all the dangerous chaos players and secure the ball. They managed to lock upp most pleyers at the midle of the feild. the pogo gobo started to move along one side and the chaos team managed to push him towards the edge of the feild. the gobos tried to free upp pogogoblin by blitzing with a troll but this became a disaster since he rolled a skulll block result and the loner kicked in. The next round the pogogoblin was pushed of the field. The chaos team managed to retrive the ball and make a goal in round 16.
The gobos was a bit unlucky during the match mostly due too the fact that loners managed to roll double skulls. the other thing that changed the match was the chaos blitz in the start of second half without that one the gobos would have had the upper hand I bleive.

Wow... that was... not fair. I don't think I've ever seen a nuffling like that. I was on the (extremely) lucky end of it, johoohno was... not. For some reason, it's not really reflected in the BBM stats, but there was little doubt from the in-game experience.

Another unfair match that is not properly reflected by BBManager stats; Kerrai could never get his game going as his main inducement, Morg, plainly refused to make himself useful and succeeded in 1 of 10 blocks or something like that. With an effective TV advantage of over 50% of Kerrai's team there really wasn't much he could do when Morg failed and my abundance of skills and better dice came into play.
Sorry for the one-sided affair, Kerrai. You held up like a champ and at least there wasn't any damage to anything other than your Dwarves' pride.
Game validated, one game left for the season.
Grats Barm, I must honestly say the Kerrai has been regarded with furies ways by Nuffle.

Is the season over now for my team or is there an end game still? Even if the Radioaktiv! haven't been shining yet, they are eager to get humiliated again (or if nuffle deem it possible - succeed with something more than breaking of necks while going for it).
I do not know how the moderators of the league has set up season 10 but based on the previous 3 seasons that I have been part of there will be a play-off season (with direct elimination) starting next week.
#1 vs #8 (based on standings after this weeks round)
#2 vs #7
and so on
Meaning there will be a quarter final, semi-final and a final, if you play well enough. But based on the result so far I guess it will be considered a "miracle" if any team in position 5-8 managed to advance to the semifinal.

There was a lot of discussion before we started about how we would do this season, but to be honest, I'm not really sure about the outcome. I suspect this may just be a league-season without play-offs though..?

I'd just as soon start season 11, but I'm up for a cup if people want to. As I think most people agreed on before though, there's really no point in play-offs if everyone's qualified. With only 8 people in the league, I'd say maybe just finals, or at most semi-finals then finals.
But yeah, this season was one of many new teams and great TV differences. I think maybe it'll be better if we just roll on to next season?
EDIT: Oh, and for the future, let's try to agree on this _before_ the season is played :D

I started quite good for me. Managed to score in t5 after knocking 8 of his guys off the field. Including Stinky, the mean Rat Ogre who blitzed me every turn that he stayed on the pitch. Unfortunately no injuries and since he had bought two Bloodweiser Babes before the match 6 of the KO'ed players got back.
The rats put all on one flank and got through my defense quite easily and built up a nice cage in the middle of my half. Then he picked up the ball, moved forward as much and possible and made a very long pass that the gutter runner in the middle of the cage catched. I put everything I had around the cage and then blitzed stinky with Xie Xie, the werewolf, and managed to score the only injury of the match. But the rats just dodged, moved a lot and scored. 1-1 in the first half.
Second half and Gnaarkill is on the offensive. Once again he puts all on one side but this time I'm much more prepared and stop him effectively. He is more or less in a cage with my players around him. Or at least that is what I think. The rats are fast, and it turns out that more rats than guter runners can dodge so suddenly he moves over to the other side. Once again I put pressure on him and pushes him hard. But the damned gutter runner makes 5 3+ rolls in a row to score.
I have four turns to equalize. I crush him on the LOS, picks up the ball and makes a nice cage. He tries to stop me but I can move the cage forward each turn and in turn 15 I make a hole in his defence and with just one go for it I score. 2-2 and final result.
In total the result is quite fair. Overall it was a good, intensive match and as always Gnaarkill is a really good sport.

I really think there should be a cup, there has been one all other seasons that I have played here. I have no problem with everyone getting into the cup, it is still interesting trying to avoid meeting the top dogs in the quarter final... Also, I would like a chance to get revenge on those pesky golbins that I met in the first round in this season...
However, since nothing was decided and many probably are eager to get on to season 11 I think it is ok to have only semi-final or only final. Actually, in this case I think only a final would be good. Then it is only one week more.
And I really think that the chaos guys that have come in second, not losing a single match, and also gave the wood elves there only loss, deserves a final match. To decide once and for all who is the best, chaos or woodies.

Ok, really starts to seem like this is the consensus then. Unfortunately, I'm having a busy week, and will be traveling around the weekend. I think my first opportunity to play is actually Tuesday evening (21st of May). Rest of that week should be pretty open as well.

Hmm, this is why we need to determine this before we start the season.
The least number of teams are 8, then we can set up so the after the regular season we run a cup with 8/4/2 teams to determine the winner.
But starting a cup now is ok but it will require 8 teams.
Which sounds better to initiate S11 instead and congratulate Kvasilad as Season 10 champ and Lasseman as runner up.
My thoughts only.

Except that only winners goes through.
So 4 teams will have one game only and one game/week would mean 3 weeks 8-4-2 --> Winner
I'll add my vote to skipping the cup and go straight for S11 since both 1st and 2nd place agrees on it.
