All right, the glorious 11th season of NUL is looming ahead. Sign up in this thread and inform your friends!
Here are the specs for season 11:
- No TV limits, you can bring along any team that you've used in previous NUL seasons or create new team.
- As there will probably be mix of new/old teams, it would probably be fair to have playoffs after the regular season so that new teams would have even a snowball's chance to make it.
- Let's try to get the 11th season going in two weeks, so that would be by Monday May 27th at the latest.

I'll register myself as a backup coach. So if it seems that there will be odd number of players, I'll join in to make the number even. I'll probly try to make a go with one of my previous teams.
I would be interested in playing, but I have a problem. I am leaving on vacation 16:th of June and won't be back for three weeks and will obviously not be able to play during that time.
I am fine with playing until then and then leaving WO, but it might be unfair to the other players so you can decide what to do.
If I join I will use my super awesome underworld team. Don't really remember what they're called, something with warpstone I think.
I'll be joining with either Druchii Smuchii Schmoo or the Mad Science Fair for the next season, unless insanity strikes me and I wind up fielding a fresh Gobbo team or somesuch.

I'm in, I think I'll be bringing the woodies back for another season. Well, I miiiiight consider taking the chaos team back out for a spin, but only if it's the only chaos team in the league.
I will stay with the caotic dudes since thats the only team that i played in NULL so far.

For my money, it's not a problem. Nuffle's not fair either, and the team calendars are randomized. Many people have travelling plans during summer vacation season anyway, so you might not be the only one. I think last year, the schedules were pretty leniant in this period.

I'm definitely in for season 11.
If there is no TV limit I will not play a new team but use either Getingarna (TV~1650) or Opa Gangnam Style (TV~1450).
I have no problem with longer match days during summer (maybe let one MD equal 2 weeks during summer?) and/or WO's.
And for the record, I do want a cup or something in season 11.

At the risk of side-tracking the thread, I'd propose these general rules for deciding how we arrange the cup:
Less than 6 teams: no cup
6-9 teams: finals only
10-15 teams: semis+finals
16+: quartes+semis+finals
Just a suggestion, but it would be nice to have some agreement on this.
I'm game and I'll keep my Radioaktiv (Underworld) for season 11 I think. They're almost as fresh as they were in the beginning of season 10 though.

I will start working in Norway at the end of this month and for a few months forth. And while I dont know just now how this will affect my availability, ill have to wait and see how my routine will be etc.
But i will check the forums and will most likely be back for season 12.

So, at the moment it looks like a 6-teamer. I'll try to get a mass spam to all registered forum members going today/tomorrow (if anybody else has more time, feel free to do that).
If we stay at six, how do you feel about "everybody plays each other 2 times" format = 10 matches (with eased schedule for the summer)? That could be pure championship without playoffs. Or would simple 5 match league (maybe with 4 team playoffs) be better?
My opinion is that we have a 5-match league + finals only for the two top teams. With a relaxed schedule, it will probably last us until late July I'm guessing.

I'm with kvasi on this one too. That way we can have a relax summer schedule and make a push for more participants later on.

Yes, you can use chaos edition. I think most of us do, I do anyway.
While season 10 has just ended, season 11 hasn't been created in-game yet as we're still waiting for there to be 8 players. With you, I think we're up to 7. If you keep checking the "show unread posts since last visit" link near the top, you will see any information that's been posted since your last visit. It's not that much to keep up with, really :)
The exact name of the season 11 tournament in-game will be announced in this thread when it's up, but it will most likely be something like "NUL: Season 11"
Opponents are contacted here on the forum in the "schedule" threads for each season. There will be one schedule thread for each match day, where matches are arranged and results posted. Feel free to have a look at the season 10 schedule threads to get an idea of how this works.

Hi Niklas, good that you got my message. Wizard Games are a good communication central :)
Welcome to NUL.
You can use Chaos Edition or Legendary Edition. If you are playing with Dark Elves, legendary edition is enough, you only need Chaos edition if you want to play one of the new teams there.

Finally got some spare time and a laptop, so i can see what you guys are up to while im in Sarpsborg, Norway ^^
I work for a company called NJD (Norsk Jernbane Drift) and I work with signalling systems for trains. So if a train crashes in the middle of Oslo its my fault, haha! ;)
I see that you guys are somewhat still 1 person short for S11. I still dont really know how my situation at work will be so I guess I still have to pass this season. Im starting to get some cravings after some good BB though! Haha!
I will keep an eye on the forums though so i can keep track on the progress ;D

I have tried to persuade Gurgeh, he wanted to join but did not like the No TV limit so he wants to join next season instead.
Any chance that Golden gets a new home computer so he can join?
How would it work with a dummy team?
Any possibility to have one person to run two teams? I could volunteer to run one old and one new team if that helps it.

So you have the following picks for S11.
1, Championship, pick one or two round-robin and there are no cup's for this selection.
2, Cup, not really advisable here, it's a KO thingy ie, one game only for the first 4 losers.
3, Grand Slam, here you get a cup as well and the cup can be from one pool or from two, and 2/4/8 teams who compete in the cup.
4, Play-off, which I have never started, sounds just like a Cup to me. :o
Please Vote, as I selected Championship for last s10 and there were some fuss afterwards about missing the Cup (sorry about that).
And please enter NUL: Feeder Camp with your designated teams for S11.

I took a look and everything was ok, if any changes team wise it's still doable...
I won't be able to join this season sadly. Will be working on getting everything working for next season.
