OK Luiggi, time for the quick and ratty to duke it out with the sneaky and stupids. At the moment it looks like that this week the only day possible for me would be Thursday but there might be small chance for of daytime match on Sunday. Then the next sure day for me would Tuesday next week. So here are my OK starting times (CEST/GMT+2):

- Thursday 18.30-20
(- Sunday 11-13, not sure yet)
- Tuesday 19-21
- Wednesday 18-20
- Thursday 18-20

Let me know if any of those suits you, sir. If none of those work, I'll update later times sometime during next week.

Those skaven blitzers look pretty nasty.

I can play pretty much all of Saturday (might have sudden plans for evening) and all of Sunday.

Tuesday-Thursday from 18+ should be good next week as well.

Time to see who is the best thrower.

Equilibri, I can play this weekend whenever, but not on thursday or friday.

Yeah, that sounds good.

I've never played against Khorne before, will be interesting.

Hi there. I've got a slight problem here, since I forgot to mention I'm away from home starting yesterday (lol) until next Friday (September 13th). When does the match day end? I would't like to delay the league, but I'm really looking forward to fighting those goblins (1 TD conceded in 3 games, are you kidding?).

If possible, I could play on Friday/Saturday (13th and 14th). Otherwise I'll look for a replacement coach. I'm kinda limited because I don't know anyone in person, and I don't even know if proxy coaches are allowed in the league, but I guess I could make something work if that is the case.

If all else fails, I guess it's a walk over for the little guys :D

No problem, let's aim for the Friday/Saturday. 3rd week was fast so this is week is ahead of schedule. I'll give you my available times for the Friday/Saturday when I know better, probably on Tuesday.

And yes, I'm kidding, otherwise I wouldn't be playing goblins  ;)

I'm busy on tuesday, I guess you do not want to play on monday, and the weekend (including friday) is not possible either.

So that leaves wednesday or thursday evening. Does any of those days work for you?

Edit: Read again what you wrote and thursday seems a more likely interpretation than tuesday. So, yes, thursday 18:00 will work fine

Just a quick precaution: forgot that it was voting day today, I might run a little late if traffic and queues at the voting place are bad. Shouldn't affect our play time unless I'm really unlucky, though.

Nuffle grants the Flings a reprieve by allowing the Cook'n'rollas to hideously murder and mutilate poor Lasseman's Dwarves:

It started with a thrown rock MNG'ing his MB Troll Slayer and then my Trees went to work, seriously concussing 2 dwarves, killing a Troll Slayer who failed his Dauntless and then smashing the collar bone of a Blitzer. By turn 4 Lars was down 5 (!!!) players and the match was effectively over. I can only commend Lars on him taking it as well as he did. Really sorry for all that damage, man  :-[ Hope the rest of the season turns out better for you.

Wow... Nuffle really seems like he's hatin' on the dwarves this season, really the only reason Khorne got their lone win against them as well.

Yhea the dorf team seems defect in some way they worked in the first match but after that everything has gone down the drain think i have managed to break armor once in the 3 last games and they must have forget to put a thick skull on my dorfs.

The elvish battle have been decided. Many things were as expected.

Lots of passes - check
Lots of injuries - check
Lots of dodging - check

But, wait there is something wrong here...

Yes, correct, all 5 of the injuries were on the AV8 team, none on the AV7 team. I think we can safely say that this disruption in the normal space-time continiuum leading to this unprobable series of event were the sole decider of this match.

Sorry for this Equilibri, I assume you did lots of swearing at your computer, I would have done that at least.

But I have to admit, the dark elves are the better passers.

Just realized something that I didn't expect to see at the start of this season.

With just one match left of day 3...

The leader in the following 3 categories: Biggest Brutes / Most Violent / Serial Killers are the halflings

And the leader of the category Best Punching Bags are my poor elves, mostly expected though

And I'm gonna meet these fearsome halflings in the next match, it does not look good...

Also, a bit hilarious I think, me and the halflings share the first place for Best Throwers

We're the Cook'n'Rollas, fool! Keep your sausages off our plates or you'll regret it  ::)

I can honestly say that the violent stats are mostly due to Lars' poor luck, but the throwing stats are due to TTM being counted as passing. It's technically cheating but we 'Flings aren't so technically minded. Also, you tend to get a lot of armor breaks by gang fouling the crap out of anybody dumb/unlucky enough to stay on the ground in our general vicinity... Well met in MD5, my squishies!

Well, despite Mr. Eggleworth's best efforts (a 1 turner TD, 1 casualty and a well deserved MVP award), the goblin side could not continue its winning streak and ended up losing 3-1 to the fast and resilient skaven. The game was defined by the troll's (un)impressive start (turns 1 and 2 saw them drooling on the LOS, 4 1's straight). The match had it all, though:

1) A suicide bomber: he dodged into a nest of rats trying to fumble the bomb, but he slipped!

2) A hungry troll: we all knew he was hungry. In the first half, he was Hungry but failed to properly eat the goblin. Then a halfling in the stands gave him some hints and BOOM, he ate a goblin in the second half. Yummy!

3) An unstoppable goblin: he fouled, he hit hard, he dodged the blows, he flew, landed and scored! Goblinship at its best!

4) A kind Stormvermin: 2 spp was all he needed. The field was full of goblins. No matter how many times he tried, or how many dice he rolled, Ronald RatDonald refused to hurt anything today. He must have mistaken the goblins for little kids in a Ratdonald's Diner.

5) A picky referee: he ejected the chainsaw after a drive despite the bribe (J-Reedy rolled a 1) and kept the money. However, the rest of the game he allowed the goblins to punch and kick helpless rats without sending anyone off.

6) Blinding fast Gutter Runners: they put so much pressure on the goblins that they could score on both their offensive drives (as well as Ratdonald's one). They also withstood fouls and hits pretty well.

All in all, J-Reedy got nuffled big time, he could only use the secret weapons for 1 turn due to a KO not recovering twice, and the bribe failing. His trolls were useless 60 % of the game (though the Guard one did a huge job in the second half). And I got the rolls I needed right in the key plays.

Ratdonald's next stop: a decimated dwarven side. What the &?%¿"% did you guys do to him?
