- Because I have deduced that the elf team is cursed. So I went undercover to find out which team might have done it.
- So, is that why you were away, mr. Gron?
- Yes, Nippy. First I traveled to New Orc City to with the Unbreakable Panzer Squad. Nothing fishy there, well, except for those meat pies they sell during the match. And their fish soap is actually very meaty, maybe something is lost in translation. One all draw and another elf bit the dust. That's actually good tactic against the khemri - nothing upsets the mummies more than taking a sandy chomp out of them - but at this context very unfortunate happenstance for the elfs. Definately cursed, that team. So I decided to dig further and if you're talking about digging, nobody does it better than dwarfs. So I infiltrated the Fantasy Armor Inc team to get a closer look at their opponent, In search of snow white. That was definately a weird match, first the norse were getting beaten up like a red-haired snottling but then they suddenly started dropping the dwarfs like flies.
- I didn't know that flies are strong enough to lift dwarfs. Hey, maybe that's why they dropped them, mr. Gron!
- Ha-aargh... Don't make me laugh, Nippy. Head hurts. So the norse won 1-0 and that's when everything went awry for me... I had disguised myself as the norse apotechary's assistant and naturally I had to take part in the norse celebrations. Unfortunately I didn't know that it was also time for the mid-chucking festival for the norse. You know, the festival where they celebrate the end of last year's beer batch running out and uncorking of the new beer batch. I've never seen much beer and I hope I never will. The last thing I remember was sitting somewhere hot and seeing that norse yhetee hitting himself with some birch twigs. Very weird... Don't know how I got here or where I've been... But we better get started so we can start the match broadcast for week three, we just have to decide which of the remaining matches we're going to...
- But mr. Gron, the third week is already finished!
- What! Can't be... That would mean that I was... Three.. four... Five days... No wonder my head hurts... What happened with the matches, Nippy?

- Again? That's a third draw for the Freebooterz, so they're still unbeaten. What about the goblin matches, how much were they beaten?
- Those lizards beat the goblins 4 to nothing and they also killed Ripper!
- I wouldn't worry about that, Nippy. Ripper is famous for those late regenerations, I'm sure we'll see him later still this season. What about the sailer goblins?
- They got lost at sea and their match was postponed. But they finally found the Khemri and lost 2 to 0.
- Yes, the famous goblin seafaring skill. Do you know that the first ever ship to sail around all seven seas was a goblin ship? They were ordered to cross the Spit'across Channel -very fitting name, as you can actually see the opposite shore across the channel - but got lost and wondered around the seas for six years before they finally got back to Spit'across. And then they accidentally docked back where they started. Hmm. So, what's next? Week 4... Yes, the Old World Pirates have a home gome against the New Orc Gitz. The goblins don't have to sail anywhere so they actually have a chance - of finding the stadium, don't know if they have a chance against the bigger greens. Oh, then there's the match with the unbeaten teams - Spawnin' Bros against the Da Freebooterz! That should be an interesting one. And then the beer-guzzlers going against the Lords of the Sith, frenzied bash against surgical bash that is. Oh noh, then there's the Drop Dead Gorgeous against the cursed elfs....
- Maybe the elfs will use the bite the dust tactic you talked about, mr. Gron!
- I don't if making those Khemri mummies any more angry than they are is a wise idea... Well, at least that match can't be anymore of a massacre than those poor dodge-reliant goblins going against those tackling dwarfs in the In search of snow white vs. Zlluga Boys. Oh, I forgot, the dwarfs got quite beaten up, they're missing two players I think... So maybe there's a punching chance for the gobbos.... Okay, Nippy, let's start planning for the broadcast. Right after you get me some water. No beer. Not ever nevermore.
Okey-dokey, Hakos, time for me to experience the (almost) full force of the dark side with my dwarfed-up team! Here are my okay starting times (GMT+2/CEST) that I'm sure about now:

PRO GRAM CRASHES ON A BLOOD BOWL MATCH

Yesterday's Blood Bowl match between the goblin side Old World Pirates and the orc side New York Gitz came to a screeching halt when a giant "PRO GRAM!" sign that had been hung to the mast and riggings of the goblin ship HMS Gnaarly came crashing down onto the deck/playing field of the said ship/Blood Bowl venue. The match had to be suspended and the team captains started negotiating a new date for a rematch. However, as the negotiations were under away, a league official arrived on a scene. Seeing bunch of unconcious goblin players knocked out and lightly maimed by the falling signs the said league official naturally deduced that the orc team was responsible for the carnage and quickly declared the match over due to the reason that the goblins didn't have enough concious players to field the minimum team. The New Orc Gitz were declared winners as a result.
As the most englihtened or our readers probably know, Pro Gram is an organization dedicated to promoting the use of the new weight units, grams and kilograms, in goblin and orc societies. New weight units have had a hard time making it into public use in the green community as the old weight units of egg and chicken are still widely used. Part of the problem is that the old weight units were standardized just two decades ago after the 37 year war over the argument if white or black chickens should be used as the standard weight unit. Therefore it is difficult to get an average goblin or orc to understand that one egg is now 42 grams and one chicken equals 1,2456 kilograms. So it is understandable that Pro Gram decided to publize their awereness campaign by sponsoring the Pirates vs Gitz match. However, the decision to hang the giant sign weighing in excess of 500 kilograms (about 401 chickes or 25 coops) over the playing field proved to be catastrofic. But the end result may just prove to be positive for the Pro Gram campaign as this incident will surely prove to the green community that grams and kilograms really pack some weight!

Yes.. correct.. this is my mistake.
As I pressed yes to validate it... I saw the result and my mind went.. that's a typical crash result. Not impossible between the two teams however.

But spp-wise everyone gained from what did happened during the game and Orc's got even more.

Are you still able to upload the replay? I re-entered BB, so it's gone, and if I try to load the old replay, it shows up with reversed result, which will mess up the stats even more.

So, to the game between some Gorgeous vs some unbreakable.
The unbreakable was quite fast broken, the fans the dice the catch the blocks... nah they all said NO.
But they did what no one have done yet.. a TD vs the Khemri and they almost stole the game.
Amazing block stats... elf's got more that 50% of all block dice to be either skull or pow.. 8/7 out of 23.. Dang!
Khemri did what they had to do.. the bone grinder.

A New Game
It is the sixteenth season of NUL. Elfs of the Lords of Sith have risen from their subterranean home, seeking their first win of the season in a match against the norse Fantasy Armor Inc. During the opening ceremonies, elf spies manage to steal the beer keg reserved for the Fantasy Armor Inc's secret weapon, FINNJÄVLE, a beered up yhetee with with enough power to destroy an entire front line of any team.
Pursued by the norse attendants, dark elf spy races to his side of the field, custodian of the stolen keg that can save his people by sobering up the yhetee and subduing his frenzy.
- Hey, whats ya're doing here? Let me see your identification.

- This is not the keg you're looking for.

Elfs Strike Back
It is a dark time for the dark elf. Although Finnjävle has been sobered up, norse the front line has knocked down the elf line and the ball has been carried to their side across the centre.
Evading the dreaded norse werewolf, a group of elfs led by a witch elf has however established a blitz play on the norse ball-carrier.
- Coach, the possibility of successfully navigating the ball through from the center is approximately 3 720 to 1!
- Never tell me the odds.
The evil dark elfs, obsessed with finding a scoring a chance, have gotten hold of the ball and sent catchers into the norse side of the field.
- What is your strategy, coach?
- There is a small hole in our flank.
- I have seen it.
- We have an elf blitzer, Darh Malek, the young blitzer who dodged away from Furry Boots. I have no doubt he is going to score.
- How is that possible?
- Look at his agility and strength. You know he will make it. He could score on us.
Return of the Norse
Darth Malek has scored against the Fantasy Armor Inc and elfs have succeeded in stopping the second norse attack. But little does the elf know that FINNJÄVLE has secretly found a new potent beer keg, even larger than the one stolen by the Lords of Sith. When buzzed-up, this ultimate weapon will spell certain doom for the small band of elfs struggling to hold the yhetee back...
- Soon we'll score and you will lose!
- Perhaps you refer to that imminent attack of your feeble cage? Yes, I assure you, we are quite safe from your attack there.

Revenge of the Sith
Tied! The Sith have crumbled under blocking of the ruthless Finnjävle and rest of the norse. There is a corpse on the dark elf dugout. Norse have scored. But in a stunning move, the fiendish elf blitzer, Darth Malek, has swept into norse side carrying the ball. As the desperate norse players attempt to mend weakened flank, Finnjävle leads a desperate block to roadblock the elf blitzer...
- Darth Vader... Can he hear me?
- No, Malek.
- Where is Vader? Is he safe? Is he all right?
- It seems, while blocking, a norse killed him.
- ...? They killed him! He was alive... I will score for him!
- Yeeeeeeeeeees!
Phantom Chance
Turmoil has engulfed the Norse side. The scoring prowess of the dark elf is undisputed.
Hoping to score the equilizer with a blockade of frenzied push-backs, the desperate norse have stocked all their players in front of the small elf front line.
While the congress of the elfs curiosly wonders if a chain of pushbacks can be achieved, the norse coach has already dispatched the attackers, two frenzied werewolfs, to settle the matter.
- Are you sure about this? Trusting our fate to a series of pushbacks that is hardly possible? Nuffle will not approve.
- Nuffle does not need to know.
- Well, I don't think we'll make it.

Nothing to complain about here, Hakos played a flawless game whereas I made two mistakes. First, I pushed my first attack too early, and then I misplaced my setup a the end of the match, and the darkies took advantage of both of the mistakes. Thanks again for the game Hakos, maybe you should try playing on those pain-killers more often!

Brilliant report as always J-Reedy. Thanks for the match. The Dices were quite even and it was the small things that decided it. And I have to say that Malak's first goal were quite lucky, breaking through your line in that way
Two dead, it was rather late so it felt safe to save Vader with the doctor, but just the turn after Gean died. A level 3 blocker. Will take some time to recoup from that.

Zlluga boyz & in search of snow white has played the match.
The swarf started to receive the ball and during the first hal they tried to focus on cripple the goblin team by brinning down there secret weapons and trying to hurt as many goblins as possible meanwhile avoiding the tolls.
This plus that nuffle hated the gobos (failing alot of really stupid rolls, dodges and blocks). This allowed the dwarfs to make 2 goals and go winning out of the duel.

First 'alf da lizardz stole our ball and even if our hired Weirdboy tried to burn'em wif a big ball of fire, no lizard fell and dey could score pretty easy, so we 'ad to start over... Finally our troll took our gobbo and threw 'im wif da ball and 'e landed and scored!
In da second 'alf da crowd started throwing rocks at uz! Thank Mork that our painboy can fix dead Blitzers...
The lizardz scored again, but not wifout some trouble. And we continued to knock out the scaly big'uns, so when we got da ball it was eazy to just walk to da endzone for another draw!
Noone can beat uz! We are da greatest! Waagh da orcz! Waagh da Freeboooterz!
