Hi Gnaarkill! MD 7 is still ongoing but Equi and B-man should play the last remaining game today. So I wanted to ask you about your availability early as I'll be leaving for a vacation Feb 18th and will return on the 3rd so I'd like to get our match played already this weekend if possible.

I should be able to play almost any time on Sunday. Saturday I might have to go to a floorball tournament (depends on the roster situation of my team, we might be short on players and I'll have to be there). But I should be free for a start from 8 to 12 (CET) on Saturday and all day on Sunday. If weekend is not possible, let me know how Monday and Tuesday look for you.

Hullo Hakos.

How's your schedule?

I'll be busy this evening (OCC match at 17 EET/16 CET), and will be OOT from noonish to 1700 EET/11-16 CET) tomorrow. Other than that, I'll be around for the weekend. Monday evening I'm booked, and I have a big deadline on Wednesday (which means I'll most likely be busy working on Tuesday).

SHOW OF A LIFETIME!
Wordless. Nothing more to say. How could I start to describe the spectacle I just witnessed? The greatest show on turf, the grooviest tunes on earth and the biggest stars in the universe just collided and produced an experience that can't be topped. I'm of course trying to tell you about the latest gig of Da Beatmores. That alone would be a spectacle to behold but add to that... literally the biggest stars of the wrestling world, the mighty giants from the Ogre Kindoms Wrestling Federation! This was a show of a lifetime, folks. Fab Four started with a set that drove the snottlinettes and ogrettes wild and then the wild wrestlers took the stage in the Blood Bowl match of the century! Honey for our ears, stars for our eyes, what more could one want? You might be curious for some extra insights into the gig and the match, but unfortunately for you dear readers, the experience really can't be described with words. There were leg drops, quitar riffs beyond believe, powerbombs, drum beats that shook the ground, dropkicks, backbreakers, Joinz Lennyn singing "You've Really Got a Hold on Me" while Hulk Ogre was California Crashing him... This was just... MAGNIFICENT!

Nice and friendly BB match where the snotties proved to be the toughest players out there, taking block a turn without even flinching. I got the ball away from Gnaar-man on his offence and picked it up with lucky dodging and agility rolls to score the go-ahead on first half. Second half a pass to a blitzer far behind ogre lines secured the second TD. After that pouring rain started and exremely deep kick gave the Ogres no realistic chance of scoring. Only to casualties and only one of them serious, so the game was indeed friendly. Thanks again for nice game, Gnaarkill!

Kauppaopiston Opet for the WIN!

A surprising feat by the Vamps, but the game was entertaining through and through. Superb play by Hakos prevented me from tying the score at the end of first half. Second half the Elves started to feel the bashy Vampire team's fists, and as the Vampires tied, there were only six High Elves on the pitch. All four KOd elves did recover, though and the last drive was started with ten players on the pitch from both teams. The kick was short, Kauppaopiston Opet anticipated the onside kick and the ball bounced right in front of the reorganized Thrall line. High Elves did manage to pick the ball from there, but in doing so the ball carrier stepped over the sideline. The sympathetic crowd tried to help by tossing the ball towards the Vamp end zone, but Opet managed to sprint to the ball and toss it back towards the sideline. From there it became smooth sailing as the Elves' numbers started to dwindle again.

<cut>

<cut>

Good description, although it was only 5 players on the pitch for me in turn 13.

Thanks for the game, it sure was an entertaining, back and forth show. I had good dices, can't complain, clearly better than average. Kezerk on the other hand had fantastic dices. That combined with both our tendency to like flashy and fancy plays made for a crowd pleasing, chaotic but perhaps not always flawless game.

Started good for me with a quick score in turn 3 and a blitz after that and captured my own kick. Lost the ball and tried to do too much fancy stuff so I had to be satisfied with just stopping his equalizer.

In the second half  his tough thrall armor combined with my paper thin good-for-nothing armor made it impossible for me to defend and he score the equalizer in turn 13.

Last drive, I was the receiver, but a perfect defense combined with a kick that ended up on the LOS made it quite difficult. Could get the ball with fancy elvish plays but not into safety. He pushed my player with the ball into the crowd (should probably have made one GFI to avoid that) and it bounced badly into his half. It was not a given for him to score though, he had to run quite a lot, pass block and dodge but managed to get 2-1 in the final turn.

Congratulations to your first win. I clearly need to learn more about how to play against vampires.

A bit late due to some angry dwarves that completely demolished the printing press due to not being mentioned any time so far. A mistake from our side that will be rectified shortly.

#25, Value 120, If Jared's performance is a bit up and down. 'Rincewind' is quite the opposite. He is now one of only two players that have managed to do something worthy of a star every match. The other one is Killy Turner. Perhaps day 3 was Rincewind's best day when he managed to do 3 passes in a single match.

And tomorrow they'll meet on the same pitch! :D

Yeah that was some fun stuff. Humans underestimated the goblin's recklessness and it almost cost them dear. Still it was a fair result given how the match developed.

My new chainsawer must have played more turns in 2 games than any other looney in history (a whooping 32 turns!). Will he be able to do this a third time? Stay tuned to find out!

Also, the Fanatic gets KO'd on turn 1, wakes up on turn 15, makes a move to add a tackle zone to a fellow goblin, then burns a reroll on a GFI... and gets the MVP! Amazing stuff.

And the dwarfs found themselves not ready.

During the game a slayer was put down and the thick-skull keept him in the field..
However the beard was of the belly and showed the vamps and the audience a  Bellybutton!!!

This was to much for the rest of the team who just left the pitch in disgrace.
Muller was totally unaware of the slayers button.
"It will take until the weekend to recover from this news."
"I'm still stunned"

As he already is a slayer.. I think he cannot go any lower so he will probably not leave the team.

New kickoff in the weekend.
###
@of the record. The computer decided that the bellybutton on a dwarf was to much and it needed a patch for cleaning instantly... reboot and reschedule was the verdict.

The world of cheese came into the match with a bit gimped team and had to hire 4 loners. This with soem heavy nuffeling with the dice rolls made the match a bit one sided. the C-dwarfs managed to make 2 goals and a couple of injuries. one gutter runner stumbled and died.

Yes.. This is the problem.. one time open for scheduling..
Meaning we postpone this week until then.. if golden can manage that.. which sounded hard..
But then the next week will also stumble.
I would like next week to be about next md.
As golden and JR facing eachother thats one game admin already.. then we will see if JR and me can dodge a admin.
I put my vote to finish this md after tonight.

Alright, I'll admin that game then against Golden who messed it up time wise last MD.
As he is very busy, I do not really see his ability to 100% take that game next Wednesday.

Meaning we are gambling regarding delay that will either be, (1) one more week or (2) get on with MD's from now, more or less.
I'll Admin the game 0-1 against Golden if there is no more comments on this in 1 hour.

And even if there are holidays ongoing it still means the many of the next MD will be solved, cutting time nevertheless.

Option 1 .

Hmm another idea would be not to validate it until someone actually agrees on the next MD schedule..
Like plan MD9 from now on like MD8 finished now...

And then I'll admin the last MD8 game in time for that game.

That or in some hours..
Option 2 I'd guess..

Vamps vs dwarfs...

Let's say the the first half was very interesting, and last 6 turns or so was played without any RR's on either team.

And next half was decided by brilliant die rolls from the vamps.

Good luck Muller and thanks for the game!

THE LEGENDS OF BLOOD BOWL, ISSUE NUL18:8

Ticket sellers robbed by angry audience due to cancelled match! The much anticipated match between the lizards and dark elves unexpectedly did not happen. The angry fans made a pitch invasion but only found the judge. The judge has not been found after this. They then drank some bloodweiser beer and decided to get their money back from the poor clueless ticket sellers.

Rumor says that the dark elves were affected by an amnesia spell cast by a lizard supporter and therefore forgot the match. How the match officials were able to decide which two lizard players that were the most valuable players in their team; Rumor does not tell.

#12, Value 150, 'Count Alec the Handful of Tacos' is not only the player in the league with the longest name, he also did more things worthy of a star this day than anyone else. With one touchdown, hurting another player and countless other good stuff done he was celebrated as the most valued player in his team. As a vampire should be.

#107, Value 60, It is not often a snotling is featured in this magazine. But 'Zeb Colsnoter' is a unique snotling. After being considered the most valued player, twice, in a team with five ogres, including 'Hulk Hogre', which in itself is noteworthy. We now predict this snotling will continue to surprise us all with feats involving great agility.

#26, Value 120, As some readers have noted, and clearly reminded us of. There has been a shortage of dwarfs being mentioned here. We have compiled a short list of noteworthy dwarves and found 'Ulraz' the BeerBelly blitzer at the top. However, there is nothing short about his impressive list of noteworthy deeds. One touchdown, two MVP's, 4 players seriously hurt and 1 more killed. That makes him appear in 3 of the official top 10 lists. Clearly a dwarf you would be shortsighted to ignore.

#48, Value 100, 'Timmy Tiny Toes' is one of those players that may not have a flashy position but is so important for his team. Keeping away the oppositions big brutal players from his own teammates and manning the LOS, he has already been injured twice, but is now also the first player to be named as the most valuable player of his team, 3 times.
