Kvasi,

When do you want to play?
Almost any time is fine with me. Today evening is booked, though. (Have to beat J-Reedy in board games face-to-face :P)
Also, some evenings I'll be hauling my youngest son to/from practice in the evenings (usually between 17 and 20 EET).

Hey Equilibri!

The day of my fears has finally come. The day when my wrestling stars has to keep up with the speed of your sprinting rats. The day when THE ROCK WILL CRUSH EDMUND EMMENTHALER INTO GRATED CHEESE! ;D

My ok starting times this week are as follow:
Today (Monday): 20.00-22.00
Tuesday: 19.00-22.00
Wednesday: 21.00-22.00
Thursday: 21.30-22.00

Im going away for the weekend so can't play on friday or saturday. I'm a bit unsure of how sunday looks and when im coming home but if none of the above times suits you, we can look for alternatives.

Hi, any time Tuesday or Thursday evening should be fine, except I have this vague feeling I've forgotten something I should be doing on Thursday. (EDIT: I'm playing board games RL on Thursday, that was it)

Friday is probably also an option.

The Phin Phighters defaut Kauppaopiston Opet 2-1 in a pretty intense match, where 7 players ended the match in the injury box, 4 thralls, 2 skinks and a saurus.

Thanks for the game Kezerk!

It also featured two interceptions by the lizzies... One by a Skink (not so surprising), and the other (crucial) one by an AG1 Saurus (maybe the same one who earlier in the game dodged out of a tackle zone without breaking a sweat).

Haha, yeah, couldn't quite believe my eyes when the saurus got that one! The dodge was a misclick, though :)

The skink with catch was more expected, even though he didn't need the re-roll.

I notice I'm really missing BBM already, are you going to put a vid on youtube?

Search for "Kezerk" :) There's actually two of me there, apparently. The youtube.com/kezerk is my iPad, that has been in the use of my fiancee and seems to have been used for commenting on make-up videos. It's safe to ignore that ;)

I couldn't remember this when you pointed it out in the game chat, and looking through the BBM logs, I still can't find it. You sure this happened? :)

I see one saurus attempting a dodge (Jared Bloodrick), and he failed miserably.

So, yet another intense game from the cheeseloving rats!

This time it was against some pretty big ogres who really wanted some blood!
Lucky that WoC had brought their own ogre, though with a bit more fur... The new teammember Babybel!
And he was good at fighting... Not so good at just walking...

First turns went as they use to.
Rats get ball.
Rats run forward.
Opponent beat rats and defend like a boss!
Rats use long tails, legs and noses to sneak through and score... Nothing new there...

Then the ogres got the ball and caged the ballcarrier all the way down to the rats half of the field, but fortunately they were not very quick, so time ran out. (with a little help from a welltimed blitz from a Gutter Runner...)

Second half the ogres did the same as in the first one.
Took the ball and just moved down the field.
This time they got blitzed down earlier, but somehow (I believe with the help of a remote in the hands of a big guy in the crowd...) the ball bounced almost like a feather into the hands of an ogre!
Great!
So the rats could just watch the house walk slowly down the field aiming for the draw...

But not so fast!
A brave blitzer ran around the wall that surrounded the ballcarrier, took a big leap and sank his teeth in the surprised ogres right eye so he dropped the ball!

And then it was as usual...
A gutter runner took the ball and passed it to another who ran a couple of miles away from the opponents and WoC could score ones again for the win!

Thank you for the game, Gnar! You had your bounces, but I had speed and agility that in the end won the game.
Fun meeting ogres! Maybe I will try them myself next season! :D

Excellent report Equilibri!

I just cannot forgive myself for not scoring that TD! Bah! It still haunts me. Your rats would most certainly have scored after kick-off anyway but at least i would have gotten some more SPP =)
Well anyway, it was a very enjoyable game!

Yo, Barm, just a word of warning. My gaming desktop just decided it doesn't want to boot anymore, had trouble with the power earlier, thought it was due to power supply but now it seems that the motherboard has something busted. However, I should be able to play with my work portable but I'm not sure how well it'll handle BB. But I'm planning on starting the game, just not sure if I'll be able to finish it. I'm working on the desktop diagnosis and tuning my portable right now, I'll let you know if the situation changes and I can't make it.

CROWD GOES WILD AT DA BEATMORES' GIG!
Da Beatmores - without the question the most popular da'pop band and Blood Bowl team of today - performed this week at the New Boot Stadium. And boy, did they get the crowd going! Not even the pouring rain that lasted throughout the gig and the ensuing BB match could dampen the spectacular set that ended with the hits New Brown Shoe and Navy Blue Suede Shoes. The crowd got so frenzied from the lovely sound of Fab Four that when the band's drummer Ringem Star was pushed off the field in the Blood Bowl match following the spectacular gig, the screaming teen humanettes gave Star such tough love that they broke the drummer' ribs. It's not yet clear if Star will be able to work his magic sticks on Fab Four's next gig but he will definately miss the BB game.
Lack of their drummer did not slow Da Beatmores down as they scored a TD later in the drive and succesfully defended against The Emperor's New Boot's tying attempt even though the frenzied teenettes stormed the field at the kickoff. At the waining minutes of the second half the invisible boot makers however succeeded in scoring a tying TD. So the match ended in a draw but Da Beatmores suffered a loss. That is, they lost one of the trusted bodyguards of Fab Four as the black orc Rocky Raccoon was brutally killed by Sandalf the Wise. Da Beatmores spent no time griefing for this loss but instead put a word out for the need of new bodyguard. Black Orc Bodyguard Hiring Enhancement Agency Distributors responded fast and the teen crowd will be kept in check during band's next gig by the new enforcer, Da Word.

---
Even fought game where I had the blocking dice but the lack of oomph with the armor and injury dice kept Barm in play. At second half Barm waited for TD chance patiently and then struck at the final turn to score the tying TD. Thanks again for good game, Barmution, and good luck in rest of the games.

I might as well announce now that I'll be away from Feb 18th to March 3rd on a running/vacation trip, so I'll have to forfeit any games that land on those weeks. Looking at the schedule, those will probably be games against TGA and B-man.

One nasty game where everyone had claws... Brrr

The strange thing is that Vamps out cassed the dwarfs.. stunning.
Otherwise Dwarfs started to earn a skill on the first block, gratz..

Then it was uphill.. gfi 1,1 sure feet did not rock this evening, the bull went down and vamps could steal the ball.

One Thrall scored three cas this evening on Dwarfs... earning a new skill on the last one.
Loss on numbers occurred on both sides but it hurt the dwarfs even more.

Thanks for the game, sorry for the strange dice Lars!

A 2-1 win for the dwarfs. Not much to do for Hakos. He  was nuffled so hard in this game. Sorry for that Hakos, it was sad to see the rolls you did.

I have to say this was one of my worst matches ever. Let's consider the following results from the 1D6 rolls:
Failed pick-ups: 2
Failed pass: 4
Failed go-for-it: 3
Failed Dodges: 7
Failed catches: 1
Total Chance: -16.09

I sure got to see the nice red Turn-Over text quite often.

Other noteworthy things from this match: 2 blitzes, one for us each meant that only one drive was a "normal" drive. Also, the sun was very hot, which I didn't saw until late, so it kind of explains some of my failures. Shame on me. Edit: Oh, I forgot, we had two deaths as well. The difference was that mueller's apo know what he did while mine did not.

Of course, I should not blame it all on the dices. Mueller played a very stable game which meant I had to do more 1D rolls than I would like to do.

I think it is, but it's a bit late start. I will try to make 21.30 work though (unless you here from me it's game).

Nope I've checked and Thursday is completely off sadly. The weekend maybe? Starting to drag out a bit though, hope this is ok for everyone.

As long as we get going with MD7 sometime next week, it seems fair to me.

Weekend is fine, almost any time would work. Friday/Saturday/Sunday between 19.00 and 20.00 would be perfect for me but feel free to tell me what suits you best.

OK, it would be really good for me if we could do the game Sunday morning (like 10-12 sometime). Otherwise I might be able to make Saturday night but I'd rather not be booked then.

GG TGA, we saw some nice bomb throwing, lots of goblins in pain and resilient dark elves. Solid game from both of us I believe.

Fun stuff, congrats for the win!

THE LEGENDS OF BLOOD BOWL, ISSUE NUL18:6

What a day, what a matches. Killing, hurting, scoring and intercepting everywhere. Two of our biggest stars met each other, Edmund and Hulk, and they clearly got inspired by that. The lizard team was on fire with double intercepts, triple casualties and more. 4 players killed in one single day, including a black orc. These are the finest of blood bowl days.

#71, Value 80, 3 CAS done by one single player in one single match is really violent and we have not seen it since the first day. But today two players managed it. Even more impressive is that one of them also managed to do a touchdown. Talk about a busy day for 'The Gutter'. This thrall is definitely one of the most versatile players out there. He has now earned star points in all ways possible except passing.

#1, Value 190, What do you get for 190k of gold? You get the single most expensive player in the league. You get the strongest player in the league. You get the most annoying tail in the league. You get 'Bamalam Wake'. Ok, ok, technically there is a stronger player but we do not count players with secret weapons in this newspaper, since they are, you know, well..., secret.

#2, Value 180, 'Hulk Hogre' is back in business. With 2 new casualties, one a kill, he showed that he is still as fearsome as ever. With that he also joins the rank of veterans, based on 8 casualties in total. Talk about Ogre single mindedness.

#46, Value 100, Intercepts are unusual. Two in the same day is rare. Two by the same team in the same match is exceptionally rare. An intercept by a saurus is unheard of. 'Great Garner' is the player who defies normal standards.

#11, Value 140, Last but not least. 'Edmund Emmenthaler' continues to show that he is the master and of course got awarded as the most valued player of his team. Apart from that he also did 2 pass and 1 casualty to really show his flexibility. He is one of only 3 players to earn star points in all matches so far and he have earned them in all ways possible except doing an intercept, but it is probably just a matter of time before he does also that.
