Hi guys. I will be away for a week on vacation. We are going to the WTC in Warmachine to compete for Sweden :D

Therefore I cannot play until next Tuesday at the earliest, not sure if I have to do anything else next week or when I'm free though.

Rats!

I am surely looking forward to a game where my allegedly strong guys are (hopefully) not spending all their time writhing on the ground :D

Thursday and Friday evenings are available for me, as well as earlier in the day on Saturday and Sunday. Let me know if any of those options are possible for you.

Can't do Monday, that's the boardgaming night (Forbidden Stars and Castles of Burgundy are the latest hits btw).
I think Tuesday 21 CEST will be OK. Can't tell any further than that. I'll let you know later (probly during weekend) about later days if nescessary.

Ooh.. sounds like fun.
I also bought Forbidden Stars.. did play it yet.
We played Legendary Heroes (Marvel) and lost three times on four players.
But it's quite good.
FS is quite complexed and you need several hours for the first game.. so we test that later.
Ok.. catch you later.

Got a bit held up at work, may be a couple of minutes late, but shouldn't be more than 1915 tops. Still hope to be ready for 1900.

Well, that was one of those wins that just felt bad. First off, Equi takes the lead 1-0, places a good fireball on my next drive, and is all set to up it to 2-0... but then it appears there's a bug in the client I haven't seen before. Edmund leaps into two tackle zones where the ball is, succeeds in picking up the ball, and dodges out successfully... except that one of those tackle zones was a skink with diving tackle, and somehow the ball got stripped even though it shouldn't have. Feel free to watch the replay if you can figure this one out. I think it was turn 3 or 4.

Anyway, it quickly went downhill from there. Undeservedly, it became 1-1 instead of 2-0 because of the bug, and to add insult to injury... well, there was added injury. The cheese enthusiasts were down to 5 rats at one point.

Sorry about that game Equi, hope Nuffle has taken out his worst and will be all smiles from now on. This was truly ridiculous.

(Highlights from dice stats: d6 Lizards 18.38 vs -6.85 for Rats, 2d6 at 9.75 vs -4.33. Block dice avg 2.16 vs 1.73. Pretty insane stuff.)

High Elves vs Snotlings played.

A match where none of us managed to score in our own attack turn.

I started with a really nice kick which he couldn't reach, managed to steal the ball and throw it into my side. Then used my movement to get away from his slow players and scored in turn 4.

Second part of the first half would have made all blood bowl professors proud. The snotlings got the ball into the middle of a cage of 6 guard ogres and then advanced forward. Albeit a bit slow due to the elven column defense. In the last turn Little Jimmy tried to fly again, but landed badly. I could get the ball, throw quite long and score as the last thing happening.

As a side note. No snotlings were harmed in the first half. Only elves.

Second half saw us playing all over the field. I stretched out his defense as much as possible. He had a nice impassable line, but I had two guys with leap who dodged and leaped passed it anyway. After about 3 turns it was time to make the normal throw to a catcher and then score. It was at this point that our dices started to fail both of us badly. For 5 turns, none of us managed to do anything of any importance. I either failed to pick up the ball, failed to throw it, or failed to catch it. He failed his blocking and many ogres were just standing around wondering what was happening.

All in all, a nice friendly match, with no permanent damages and lot's of nice chatting.

See you next season Gnaarkill :)

OK, Mr. B, here are my OK gaming times for 21 CEST this week:
- Tuesday
- Friday

Let me know if any of those suits you, sir. Wednesday might also be OK, I'm going out to eat with some friends and I should be be back by 21 but it's a bit unsure. If those days aren't OK, Sunday day/afternoon (evening won't work) is the next possibility.

As it happens, I'm also working from home today. I think I could interrupt my work for an hour, two at the most.

So... Is 9 CEST OK? Half an hour from now?

Some nervewrecking game, running 2nd half (I received) with a wiz lurking in the crowed and thralls left one by one....
Finally I did manage 1-1.

Equally nervewrecking for J-R when 2 gfi, one 3+ catch was needed last turn in first half to  take the lead.

A wild ride of a match sees both teams run in a TD each under suspect circumstances. However the match will probably be a landmark for the league by virtue of something entirely else: Our darling murde...er, Blitzer Sandalf the Wise died doing what he liked best, namely Piling On. The Discworld All Stars were quick to put their boots in and there was nothing the apothecary could do, except pilfer some coins and souvenirs from his warm corpse. Oh well, live by the boot, die by the boot!

Thanks for the match and gl further on, TGA!

Wow, Sandalf dying before Edmund, who would have guessed that?

Sorry to hear, it truly sucks to lose such a skilled player.

Hehe, I expect death with Humans at this level. Wasn't the best way to go, obviously, but the good news is we eked out a draw and there's probably only 3 matches left with these miserable sods :P

Thanks for the sentiment, tho :)
