OK, folks. Let's try to get this Blood Bowl 2 thing started. Sorry for lack of attention on my part, helluva summer on RL front.
As there are no old teams, let's discuss about the league structure in the new client during the season when everybody gets more acquinted with the game. We could maybe start a feeder league where coaches can play new teams against other new teams and teams from this league can be brought along to later seasons. But that's for later, let's just get this thing started.

Official Stuff

- This is the 1st official season in Blood Bowl 2, so only new & fresh teams.
- League will be played with normal 1 match week per 1 real-time week pace.
- As last season, we'll be enforcing the rule that if you don't show up to play a game on agreed time AND you don't tell about your absense at least an hour before the match in the forum, you'll forfeit the game with an 2-0 admin loss to your opponent who is waiting for you.
- ALL NEW COACHES ARE WELCOME!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW COACHES:
1. Read the introductory thread with the explanation on league structure HERE (http://norscaleague.com/index.php?topic=3.0).
2: Create an account on this forum. Note that due to high activity from spam-bots, admins have to approve your account before you can post here. This shouldn't take longer than a day or two.
3: Post a reply in this thread that you want to join.
4: Read the "Essential rules" section HERE (http://norscaleague.com/index.php?topic=65.0) and post a reply in that thread that you have understood the rules.
5: The admin team will add you on the participant list in this post.
OLD Coaches now the drill, just tell what team you'll be taking to the trophy hunt.

I'm definitely in. So you're saying season 0 didn't count? I still hope to pick up my Bretonnians again some time in later rounds, but I absolutely understand that it's only new teams this round :)
I think I'll go for either Undead or Norse, neither of which I've ever tried before. Leaning towards Undead.

Who will set up the league or is everything already set up?
I'll try to get the league started tonight unless Mr B beats me to it.
If my understanding of the structure is correct, the league is already set up ("NUL Feeders"), but we need a new "competition" representing our new season. For now, the league NUL Feeders have had one competition, "NUL - Ignition!" which in the forums is what we've referred to as "Season 0".

So basically those of us that played in "Season 0/NUL - Ignition!" should already be signed in to the league. But we still have to apply for the competition when that is set.
The rest of us that did not play in "Season 0/NUL - Ignition!" have to apply to both the league and the competition :)
I think that is how it will work :)
OK, seems I didn't have nescessary rights for creating new competitions into the "old" Nul feeders League. So I've created a new League called "NUL Championship". Bantha, you have been added as administrator of this league.
I've invited Kvasi's Playful Dead, all other players please apply for the "NUL Season 24" competition in "NUL Championship".

There are some selection..
Gives both teams some bonuses...
Like a bribe for free.. A wiz for free.. Hard ground +1 on armour if failed a gfi.. Or-1 if you have soft ground..
I think my vote is against both stadiums and transfers. Maybe try some of it later, but for now I'd say we'll just try the most normal approach.

Bantha, where can you change the stadium settings? I tried looking for those, but couldn't find them. The new interface is still bit foreign to me.
vote against stadiums if we are not to change the system so both teams will get the benefit of a home stadium since the choices of the stadium could make or break a teams tactics and in that case every team should meet the others in the same circumstances.

I'm voting against stadiums too as it doesn't seem very balanced to me. If you don't find it in the options JR, then I suggest we all just don't buy anything as a gentleman's agreement.
I think the stadium look interesting, but I have no problem not using them.

I can't recall wether the stadium counts vs TV. If it does then I'm actually for using them since that's a very steep price to pay for the effect it gives. I'm all for giving your opponents a way to handicap themselves :P
it does not count towards tv it's a way to dump money to get less tv.

I could not find any info regarding how to turn on/off anything else than Age.
And I created some fake test tournaments.. just to try..
And when I removed one, it asked it I were to remove it with all history... sure but... it ment the entire NUL-Ignition.. which I did not understand..
So that was removed... that is how bad the UI is.
So, JR, never becareful when removing Test round robins, test knockout, or test ladders.. Zzzz Zorry guys.

Equilibri (necromantic) has been sent ticket, but he has not yet used it.
We're missing Gnaarkill and Snyto. I'll send them a reminder pm through forum.
Just in case, you apply to the league like this in BB2:
From main page -> Play in a league > Join a League > Multiplayer > search for "NUL" > Register in NUL Championship > NUL Season 24.
This will send a ticket request which an admin has to approve. When approved, you are sent a ticket and you have to then use it to complete the registration.

I've been a bit out of the loop lately as you've probably noticed. After some consideration I'm afraid I have to pull my participation from this round of BB 2 due to a lot of unexpected activity around my new job and upcoming planning for this winter's Dreamhack. Time and energy supplies doesn't add up currently.
I hope to be able to get back for S25 though!
