All right J-R, time for your slippery cuties to dance around my ugly assembly once more!

I'm available most evenings these days, so just let me know what works for you.

I still have no tackle. Not-a-one.

Well, methinks that Tuesday at 18.30 would be optimal for me but any time until 20.00 works for me, so how about Tue 18.30?

Same time Wednesday is also OK, Friday and weekend are bit hazy atm due to Easter stuff.

I still don't have... don't know what would be scary for necros... strip ball maybe... Yeah, well, I have no strippers in my team!
But on a positive side, I did just get +ST on a linelady!

If anybody thought that favourite Blood Bowl team of Death, that of MPDG Fever, had been forgotten by the grimmest of reapers this season, today's match where the Amazons took on the league leading Necromantic side of The Candidates, proved that thought wrong. During the first drive where the Amazons ran the ball in from the left with a play very unlikely for them, just straight on drive without zigzags, the Great Harvester visited the pixied ones once again, this time trying to take linewoman Sam Freehan. But this would not be, as the necromancer of The Candidates decided to lure ms. Freehan to his side, perhaps with a promise of some candy and dates. So despite losing a zombie to an injury during the Amazon scoring drive, Necromantic side kept their numbers for their own turn at the attack. But the decision to anger the Great Soul Taker by snatching away the deceaced Amazon may have just settled the game. That didn't become evident right away thouhg, as The Candidates equalized the game at the final moments of the first half with a strong drive that left two of the Amazon KO'd.

But then became the second half, and that changed all. Shallow kick landed next to frontline and Necromantic players started to clear away the Amazon front line. Block followed a block but every time a hit was about to land on a vixen guarding the front line, there was a loud cough coming from a vicinity of the Necromantic dugout and as by miracle, most of the hits turned into harmless pushbacks. And then came the block, where two coughs were heard, one from the dugout and one from the field, and the Amazon being blocked managed to turn to face the punch and take out the blocker. Ball was left lying on the field and Amazons swarmed in. The Candidates had to do some clever manouvering to get the ball bounced to safer waters but as the Amazons still refused to go down, the situation was getting hairy. Then came the key play, where one of the Amazon players blocked her former team-mate, Claire Colburn, who had switched sides by the way of death during previous season game between the two sides. Many of the spectators claim, that the punch that took down the zombied Claire didn't even connect, but still the end result was that she was carried off the field with an injury that regenerated in a way that looked very effortless. Amazons had the upper hand, and moments later, when another side-changer Zombie, Idefix from the Good Game Gauls, was carrier away injured (with an easily regenerated injury), the situation was getting desperate for the Necromantic. Ball-carrying ghould managed to dodge away, but with numbers advantage the Amazons swarmed in, KO'd the ghoul and the ball bounced into hands of Amazon Receiver. She started to run towards the goal, following a Blizer and escorted by another Blitzer. But one must not forget that the Necromantic teams are not out of the game as long as there is even one Werewolf left on the field. And even though this Werewolf was knocked down, he was fast enough to catch the Receiver and take her down with a solo blitz. But as the Wolf was alone next to the ball, the downed Receiver just got up and blitzed the wolf with the help of the Blitzer guarding both the ball and the Wold. The Wolf was pushed back, Blitzer picked up the ball, ran to the rookie Blitzer 'Anya' waiting at the scoring distance and handed off the ball to her. One final run and the game was over with a 1-2 surprise victory for the Amazon side.

Well, this was an interesting one. First half was pretty clear cut, I had to score fast with Kvasiman taking the strenght advantage with a kill on niggled linewoman. Kvasilad then followed with a pair of KOs that gave him relatively easy score. But then on the second half, all Nuffle broke loose with Kvasilad on the receiving end. Skull+both down rerolled into Skull+both down took down a zombie and offered me the chance to keep a constant pressure on the ball. Two injuries and couple of KOs gave me the advantage and Kvasilad was really forced to do his best to secure the ball. Final deciding play was another skulled block that gave me a free hit on the ball-carrier. The luck numbers look relative screwed considering the game, though I did roll more than a fair share of snake-eyes on dodges and Kvasilad made a dice defying 1D gfi Blitz on the final turn, so those probably do some wonky stuff to the luck numbers. Exciting game for me, and undoubtedly a frustrating second half for Kvasilad. But thanks again for the game Kvasiman, just remember to watch out for those spy zombies!

Thanks for the match, it was an exciting and fun one, now that I've calmed down a bit :D

I don't think I was especially unlucky, but I think it always feels like that when facing a team full of dodgers without tackle. But it is true, in the second half, I thought it likely that I would score, and had a few key dice rolls go tits-up which may have decided the game in the end.

Still, you played very well and deserved the win. And I've had more than my fair share of luck so far with this team :)

Hello Napoleon

Long time since our teams met now. At that time we were both complete rookies (first game of first season for the teams). Time to see what changes and experience have done for the teams.

I can play any day, almost any time during easter (friday-saturday-sunday-monday).

Harr!
We fear not death, only ourselves! ;D

Sorry for the late reply. I caught a fever but is on my way back to my feets ^^

I do prefer morning matches starting from 10-11 something, this weekend (saturday, sunday, monday). Something you fancy?

Hello, Hakos. It will definitely be interesting to see how the levelups and casualties we've had since then affect the match.

Would Monday at 18:00 work? If that time doesn't work, I can do pretty much anything that isn't 20:00-23:00.

The long awaited return match versus the not so Noob Elves have been played and thus this day is finished.

Lizards were eager to bash some weaklings and choosed to go on the offence. The elves got a perfect defence and moved the LOS away from Helmut, the chainsaw guy. However, that left the field open for Helmut to slice off some legs from the AG 5 line elf which never got back into the game again. Which means both the legs and lineelf.

Helmut continued like that and removed a total of 3 elves from the field before he himself was forcibly removed. But his work was done, the damage was dealt. So even when the elves managed to get hold of the ball due to really bad positioning from the Lizards they did not have enough elf advantage to keep it. Slowly the ball got further and further in the right direction until the 1-0 TD was a fact in turn 8.

The elves had their turn 8 left and that plus new half meant they got 3 KOd players back for second half and could field a complete team in second half.

But once again the Lizards were very eager and initated a Blitz. They went all-in and swarmed the elvish field, marking all players. The gamble looked like it would pay off when the elvish guy failed the pick-up, but on second attempt (RR) he got it and throwed it to a catcher with Nerves of Steel who did not care at all that a big saurus tried to hold him down. He just catched the ball and run away from all players to score a nice two turner TD. 1-1.

Once again the Lizards attacked, do you notice a theme here? Once again the elves got a perfect defence. See, there is a theme here. But that was the last luck they had in this game. Up until now it had been relatively even. But suddenly all that pent-in rage swelled out from the saurus. They killed one elf here, they badly hurt two elves there, they KOd some more and pushed one more out to the audience. The elves valiantly did what they could and was an annoyance all the way to the end. But with only two players left versus eleven lizards in the final turn they could do nothing more but just being annoying. It was easy to walk in the winning 2-1.

Finally the Lizards got a good game and the saurus scored more BH in this game than they have done in all other games combined so far. Sorry that it happened to you Napoleon. You played well all the time, much better than me in fact. I lost count of all my mistakes. But my mistakes did not matter with such good dices.

I think you definitely deserve some good dice after all of the casualties you've had with this team, and I made some mistakes as well. I think I took too many risks and opened my team up to taking a lot of blocks.

Thanks for the match, Hakos, and good luck for the rest of the season.
