The season has been kicked off in game and matches added to the here, time to play on!

Lars, I'm on vacation at the moment, so I have lots of free time. But on the other hand, my availability may change quickly depending on what I decide to do when I wake up. At the moment my available CET start times as far as I can see look like this:

- Monday 19-late
- Tuesday-Thursday practically any time
- Saturday 18-late

Let me know if any of those suit you, sir. If not, just suggest something and I should be able to make it work.

Hello Gnaar.

My nearly destroyed orcs are ready for another beating. I am on holiday for a week starting tomorrow, but my weekend is already booked full. I have my children with me and we have some plans during the week, but I believe I can schedule a game in my calendar quite easily.

Let me know what would be a suitable time for you and I will try to oblige.

Wednesday sounds fine to me, shall we say 20 CET? That would make it 21 for me (EET) and wouldn't be too late.

A surprising match where the severely crippled Kamprads classics managed to go winning out from the match.
The match was played purely during rain and with 2 teams with bad rolls the one with slightly less bad rolls won.
The humans managed to score fairly early round 3 or 4 and after that they engaged in a delaying game for the rest of the match witch in the end showed successful.

Sorry for the bull centaur but the -ag is at least ok on the blitzer type centaur.

Good luck in the rest of the season and may you be luckier.

/Lars

Sorry in advance for holding up the first match day, but I'm struggling to fit a game in this week. Will figure out a time with Memofin on Discord hopefully early next week.

This was a rematch of the season 47 opener.
Old skool Orks vs Har Ganeth

This time the darkies stood victorious and also their first win over the orcs after being defeated both in season 46 and 47.

Solid play by Atte as usual and a real gentleman at all times making it clear why this coach is play-off material!
Orcs started on offence. An unfortunate input error from Atte made it tough to score in the last rounds of the drive and the darkies star player, Eldril Sidwinder, made use of the situation and made his monies worth when he stepped up on the pass block to interception play, sealing the scoreless first half.

Nothing really unusual happened in the second half. Har Ganeth on offence with the usual spread out play. Orks made good defence with pressure, taking out the pale ones, piece by piece, which eventually lead to a thinned out offence by the dark ones. Running out of RR's Har Ganeth had to go for the TD with a daring leap by Crone Hellebron. Luckily the leap was successful and the 0-1 was a fact.

A couple of turns left for the Orks to try and score. Although nuffle decided it was time for rain making it super hard for the somewhat slow greenskins.
The score remained and Gnaarkill was happy, Atte was not. It's a hard knock Blood Bowl life!

GG Atte, my man! :D

I am open for other times, but for now I consider this as a positive response. Let's meet and see if some of us can manage to get positive luck. Four teams have failed with that so far this season...

Ok, the curse is broken, finally one team managed to get a positive luck. But to balance that out the other team had to get extra bad luck...

Steel of Sweden got +10 vs Fangless Freshmen -7, so a whopping 17 in luck difference. Which showed in the match result. This was not a game, it was a massacre.

Steel of Sweden won with 3-0 and managed to kill the Thrall with ST 4. The apothecary only shook his head and said "dead or even more dead".

To add even more insult to the damage the MVP award got to Wilhelm Chaney. Probably because he was killed as well but when managed to regenerate on the sideline to reappear in the match again. At least that was his only noticeable achievement.

Oh yeah, The freshmen also hired Helmut, the chainsaw guy, but when the Bretonnians score 1-0 in turn 8 with only 9 players left for the freshmen in their own turn 8 Helmut made a very short appearance in the game before being ejected.

Even the fireball was no success. Only one KO and one stunned, without changing the position on the field.

All in all, Saitani was surprisingly calm the entire game. I just saw a couple of FFS in the beginning but after that it seems he accepted the fate.

Thank you for the game, Saitani, I really hope you get better luck in next game. At least it will be hard to get even worse luck after this one.

Last match of the day played!

The dugouts were full, but there were miraculously no permanent injuries. Memofin had a rough time with the dice, and really struggled to bring my norse down, which mostly resulted in the lizards being de-facto outstrengthed for much of the match.

I used my apo early to keep a werewolf in the match, and had several heart-stopping moments after that, including when my ST4 runner was badly hurt by lightning bolt.

Helmut had a poor showing, and only swung his chainsaw I think twice before dropping it on himself.

Real Charles the Kroxigor had a really Charles match, being boneheaded a lot of the time.

Anyway, thanks for the match Memofin, and good luck further on!
