Norsca Union League

Hello guys. From the nastiest Orc barracks and the dirtiest Skaven gutters I return  8)

I'm just dropping by to say hi, I keep very good memories of NUL and all its participants (most of which I still see around here despite all these months, great stuff! :D).

Unfortunately, I won't be able to join this season but I have my eyes on BB 2 Legendary edition and unless they really f*** up, it's going to be a definite purchase. And the next logical step will be to rejoin NUL and shake off some rust :)

Anyway, have fun guys and (hopefully) see you in a couple of seasons!

PS: I mentioned orcs and skaven but I can't remember if I played something else back in the day... I think I also tried gobbos, dark elves and chaos, heh. Such a long time ago already  :'(

PS 2: Wow, this is my 500th message too, how appropriate :D

I'm going to have to wait until next season to join, I'd love to play again but I've already had some problems scheduling games this season, it's gonna be even tougher now. Summer should be easier so I'll probably join for S20!

Unlucky, Yorkshire Terrier the Chainsawer didn't make it despite wreaking havoc in the ogre roster, breaking an ogre's neck, severing several snotlings and most importantly, scoring a touchdown in an amazing play. First he sawed the carrier in his own field, vacuumed the ball with the chainsaw intake funnel, proceeded to KO another snotling and scored the winning touchdown! He might not be a legend but he performed a feat that goblins will remember forever.

Other goblins were not as lucky, one of them died, crushed by an ogre. Nice hit! Another highlight of the game was Balldog the Fanatic injuring his own troll teammate, only to wander around the pitch for the remainder of the game, way to go, "champ".

BTW sorry for not posting earlier, my bad. GG Gnaarkill and good luck with your Ogres.

Oh boy, stupid me, I'm visiting the UK this weekend so I won't be able to play at all this week. The sooner I can make it is next Monday at 12.00 or 22.00.

My bad, I checked the thread but I must have missed your first message. I had work on Wednesday so I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway.

I have family visiting this weekend so it's unlikely I'll be able to play then. If it was the case it would be on Sunday evening (19.00 onwards), though I would have to confirm it tomorrow.

The sooner I can play next week is on Thursday, since I am not free until then.

Yeah that was some fun stuff. Humans underestimated the goblin's recklessness and it almost cost them dear. Still it was a fair result given how the match developed.

My new chainsawer must have played more turns in 2 games than any other looney in history (a whooping 32 turns!). Will he be able to do this a third time? Stay tuned to find out!

Also, the Fanatic gets KO'd on turn 1, wakes up on turn 15, makes a move to add a tackle zone to a fellow goblin, then burns a reroll on a GFI... and gets the MVP! Amazing stuff.

This week I don't work on Tuesday, weeeee:

Tuesday: kick-off 12.00-12.30, or between 16.00 and 20.00.
Thursday: 21.45 (only as a last resort please)
Friday: 11.00-12.30, or between 16.00 and 20.00.

Weekend might be a possibility but I have to confirm if I'll be at home or not.
