In the cold dark night of spring two powerhouses collided against one another as The Orks took on The Shunned.

The traditional Orc scout report states the following:
The Orks went'on da offens after winnin'da coin toss an' started to make deir way to da end zone. The Orks 'ad only two Big'Uns an' were ova'powered by da Shunned who 'ad three 'uge monstas on da pitch an' dey was terryfyin'! One woulda been bad but three was just 'orrible.
The Orks managed'ta stomp one of da'uge beasts off da pitch an' took control of da right flank early on forcin' da Shunned to'urry back to try an' prevent dem from advancin'. After some violent scrappin' da Shunned linemen failed some blocks which allowed The Orks to swing to da left flank an' break through to score da goal, 1-0 for The Orks!
Afta' The Orks kicked da ball to da Shunned, dey tried to do a sneeky gobbo toss play by da troll but ran out of time before dey got da ball to da gobbo an' so da first 'alf ended 1-0.

The Orks started da second 'alf with only 10 playas against 11 of da Shunned but levelled da playin' field immediately by nockin' out one of da'uge ones. Da Shunned tried'ta break through first from da left, den from da right, an'den from da left again.
Den disasta'struck for The Orks! Big'Un Aklan 'Bad Penny' tripped on 'is own feet durin' a block an' left a gap for'da Shunned to run thru'da left flank! The Orks tried desperately to catch da lineman Lord Fredde but wid'no effect: Da Shunned scored an'tied the game, 1-1. Wi'alf of da secon'alf to go The Orks got lucky az da Shunned kicked da ball ouda bounds an' The Orks got a touch back. So The Orks made a mad dash down da right flank tryin' desperately to score da winnin' goal, but az Sokur 'Weakling' tried'ta make a break for it da Shunned orc Zabutom managed to trip'im an'da ball was dropped to'da ground. Den right at da very end The Orks 'ad one last shot at scoring da winning goal after da Ogre Techno Viking fo'got wat 'e was suppose'da do and fo'got to mark Hebyr 'Filthy Fangs' who was now home free. Afta some succesful blocks to free up playas da Gobbo Skarsnik 'The elusive' failed to pick up da ball an' 'and it ova' to Hebyr an' before dey'ad a chance to try again da ref whistled for full time.

In a post match interview with The Orks' head coach he spoke of the match:
"We'ad a good match, but like da famous orc band 'Da Black Eyed Beast' once sang: Where is the blood, the blood, the blood...?"

Thank you for the match Gnaar, I had fun and I hope you did too.

One of the most brutal and bloodiest matches of this round was played tonight as The Orks faced off against their scary bigger cousins, the Black Orcs.

The traditional Orc scout report states the following:
"The Orks 'ad to go out in a freezin' blizzard to play against dem 'uge Black'orcs. Da field was frozen an' no'one dared'ta run proper fast az dey 'ad to watch deir steps. Dem Black'orcs 'ad a bleedin' troll wi'dem, 'e was 'UGE!

The Orks kicked'da ball to dem Black'orcs first and stood strong in da line to 'old 'em off. Da BLack'orcs slammed against da green wall wi'all deir mite allowin' da quik blitzers to blitz da gits 'round da sides an' get da ball. After a promisin' ski'mish an' desperate chasin' by da gits The Orks scored at da 'end of da 'alf making da score 1-0.

At da start of da second 'alf The Orks were down four players, playin' wid' eight players against almost a full BLack'orc team. Da weader was still a freezin' blizzard when da Black'orcs kicked da ball to da oder side of da field. Now it was The Orks' turn to slam against da 'uge, foul smellin' blak an' green wall but dey almost didn't feel the pushes an' shoves of their little, distant cousins.

Den out of no'were da git Skarsnik of The Orks dashed to da line wi'da ball an' chucked it to the blitzer Dvorak who made a dash up da left flank. Wi'da assistance of 'is team mates' screenin' and markin' only two gits got through to blitz Dvorak down an' claim da ball but were quikly forced'ta giv'it up az dey were unda'powered against two blitzers. Az da gits desperately tried'ta pick up da ball an' run away wi'it dey accidentally bounced it right'in to da arms of Dvorak once again. Wid'a bit of violence The Orks were once again on da go towards da goal.

Wid' no more threats to da ball Dvorak 'ad time to just wait at da goal line an' walk da goal in just before da final whistle: 2-0 for The Orks."

In a post match interview with The Orks' head coach he spoke of the brutal match:
"A great match, lot of violence an' bloodshed! Da price of winnin' was great too az we now 'ave only two Big'Uns for'da next match. But great match, very great. Lot of violence! And bloodshed!"

Papa Jaiseri, thank you for a great match. It was just as fun as it was brutal.
Best of luck in the future.

The Orks nearly got mangled by da stiffs in what was suppos'da be an interesting match. In da first 'alf The Orks defended againsta da stiffs wid'an elf screen tactic of five screens of two playas across da field and nearly 'eld it together until da very end when a dirty ghoul runna broke free from da side to score when The Orks forgot to put da fifth screen in position leaving da flank wide'open.

In da second'alf The Orks went on the offense tryin' to equalize da match by runnin' da ball up da laft flank, but da stiffs 'eld them fast to da sideline and blitzed da ball carrier causin' da ball to bounce off da pitch and da audience threw it back in to the other side of da field, where a sneaky ghoul runna picked it up. The Orks got three players on da ghoul tryin'to knock it down but da slippery bastard wouldn't go down. Instead 'e dodged away from The Orks playas many times and ran towards the other end but eventually 'e got tripped and The Orks picked da ball up an' ran it in to equalize in the last moments of da match.

Final score 1-1.

The Orks's star blitzer Sokur 'Weakling' said in a post match interview:
"Coach Atte said to stay put on defense and wait for da stiffs to make mistake. We didn't undastand why, but Coach Atte said 'ed bite all our big toes off if we didn't do what 'e said. Coach Atte is very, very scary so we did wat 'e said.
Then on the last turn da stiffs got da goal. An' now Dushra 'The madman' only 'as nine toes. 'Es a scary man..."

How does your schedule look like regarding our match? At the moment I've got every night available in the coming week and after that I'm on holiday for the next week but I'm not going anywhere so I can play pretty much anytime.

Let me know what suits you and we'll set a date.

Hi, sorry man! Completely forgot to reply to this. If you can play tomorrow (Thursday) that would be great, should be free from 19 CET onwards

If not, most evenings next week would work for me from about 18 CET I think. Friday and the weekend is probably difficult.
Sounds great, we'll aim for 19 CET tonight.

When shall we kill some Orks?

Well, it was a busy weekend and so will be the next one as you know that both of us will be enjoying some Pineapple tabletop Blood Bowl. But I'm free for some online Blood Bowling during the week from Tuesday to Thursday. Start time between 18 to 21 Finnish time would be preferable so let me know if any of those days suit you, sir.
How about tomorrow @ 20.00 EET (local time)? Stream + audio (Finnish) in Discord?

Long time indeed, good to see you back.

For me Tuesday evening (30/1) at 19 CET would be a good starting time. I think that would mean 18 UTC which seems to be within your parameters.

I once taught a new player to play Blood Bowl. Later on I played against him in our tabletop league and he taught me two important wisdoms:
1. This is an easy game, just roll 6's.
2. If you tell your dwarf team that they're elves, they'll do elf bullshit.

I've wanted to test his dice for a long time to find out if they're loaded, but how can his BB2 dice be tested?

Have you guessed his name yet? Yes, it's Memofin.

The second match of the day for The Orks, and the second victory.

The Orks had little time to recover from their previous match which manifested as lazy blocking and lack of concentration at first, giving the shadeless ones room to maneuver at the beginning of the match. A lucky strike did give the green elite a chance to steal the ball and go for goal, but a similar fluke of nature saw the ball back in possession of the Freshmen and relentlessly they rolled downfield towards The Orks' endzone scoring with minutes left on the clock. During this time The Orks had slowly but steadily thinned out the ranks of the palefaced paladins. And when The Orks weren't up for the task the Freshmens vampires fed their thirst of the crimson nectar by feasting on their thralls. The halftime whistle blew as the match was 1-0 for the Freshmen.

For the start of the second half The Orks fielded eleven players to face off against eight players of the Freshmen. Slowly but steadily The Orks rolled on down the pitch and mutilated even more Freshmen players, scoring the equalizer with minutes on the clock. The Freshmen recovered a few more players for the final attempt to score the winning touchdown and rushed a quick attack on the right flank, only to have the designated ball carrier fumble the pick up after everyone else had already run up the field. This was a chance which The Orks seized, hording the ball with three players desperately rushing around it. When the Freshmen realized that the ball was compromised, they immediately started rushing back to hinder the scoring attempt of The Orks. But with skill, grit, violence, determination and quite a bit of luck The Orks had one last go for glory with players opening up an alley for a bliter to pick up the ball and run to hand it over to another blitzer who rushed to the endzone with just seconds on the clock making it 1-2 for The Orks.

The following final kick-off didn't leave enough time for the Freshmen to try to equalize the game so they concentrated on violence trying to get revenge on The Orks for maiming so many of their teammates, but to no avail.

When the referee blew the final whistle The Orks had secured their second win of the day.

In an interview with a sports reporter from The New Orc Times Galnast Goug'Zom had this to say about todays games and his teammates: "Sometimes is hard to be orc. All hate orcs. Orcs play poor and no 'urt opponents. Today good day to be orc. Orcs beat many opponents. Orcs get gloo-ree. Even if some coward take ball and run from fight."

Saitani, thank you for a great match. I think this was one of my most favorite ones I've played in NUL. Good luck to you in the future.
