Looks like nothing went horribly wrong during moving, so I'll be trying hard not to get my team Eviscerated too badly tomorrow at 19 then :)
Great, see you tonight!

What happened to the Konna vs Beuneri match? Couldn't see any communications by them either.

Here's hoping Heisenberg Harry rolls a double before facing the dark elves next week :P

You got me there, that was the only reason my blitzer got injured. I told him to fake an injury so he'd lvl up and hopefully continue his killing spree with Barmution, mwahahaha.
No, no. No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. No, no, PLEASE NO DOUBLES!

Official reply to formal complaint from the Gentlemen Wolf-Whistlers (further referred to as GWW) regarding the physical excursion yesterday.

We, the undersigned representatives of Druchii Smuchii Schmoo (DSS), would like to give a comprehensive response to the points raised by GWW.

1) DSS is, by decree of the Overcouncil of Sinister Sportivities, an equal opportunity sports club. This, by definition, implies that Druchii female specimen are not only allowed but even encouraged to take to the field to render grievous physical harm upon their opponents or vice versa, depending on the wills of Khaine and Nuffle. If any so-called gentlemen are too weak of stomach or perhaps too distracted by our sister in battle's anatomical blessings, we would claim that such a player is unsuited for the demands of this sport. What if such players were to face a team of these female furies of Lustria, the Amazons? The result would surely be a detriment to all fans of this noble game and to the players themselves. No, we say, get with the times; these outdated notions harken back to the glory days of the Slann and should be considered relics of a distant age.

2) Considering the physical incursion of fans unto the field, it was not a matter of security personell shirking their duties. We most certainly resent the implication of bribery or threats untowards the family or loved ones of such staff. No, the matter is quite simply one of physiological differences between our sports clubs respective fan-bases: Whereas a fan of GWW seems to be at best a shambling hunk of partially decomposed flesh, a DSS fan is a nimble, strong and willful entity, blessed with both the foresight of recognizing a far superior team and the body to enact righteous vengeance upon the opposing team when referees fail to comply with respectful suggestions made pre-game. As such, we would like to register our own complaint as a member of our own ranks were hit during the tumults, something that seemed far less likely given the reasons listed above.

For Druchii Smuchii Schmoo,
Archibald "Wolf Bait" Arson and Dastardly Danny Dwarf-Drowner

Coaches comments:
I'll freely admit being quite lucky with winning this one, J. That Pitch Invasion was a one-sided travesty if I ever saw one. My block dice started off quite badly in the first half but soon Evilyn was laying down the smack with a vengeance... pretty lucky armor/inury rolls for me indeed. Good thing I didn't inflict lasting injury on you, tho, that would've left quite the bad taste in my mouth considering the outcome of the match. You played very well and would at least have deserved a draw.

Nuffle's blessings to you for your remaining matches!

Barmution, time for some schmooching and whistling. Here are my OK starting times for the week (CET/GMT+1):

Indeed, sir! Evilyn has for too long been the target of indiscriminate whistling, time to set these mutts of yours straight!  ;)

How about Thu at 18 CET/GMT+1?

Great writeup, J!

Before the season I was worried that there might be a bit too many bashy teams for a DElf team to survive, but the two teams that have outcas'ed me has actually been Space Cheese and Shining Sins for some reason. If this trend keeps up, I'm going to flatten your Ogres, Golden Arrow :P (Odds are it's going to be the other way around, tho...)

It's quite a thight run in the lead and I've got some quite capable teams ahead of me, so this season really won't be over until the fat ogre belches. Good luck to all of you!

No problem, Staffan. I'm by no means a good dorf player myself, I also find them a bit too slow and a bit one-sided to play. The advice I gave is pretty standard bashy team advice, but it goes doubly for dorfs since they can find themselves horribly out of position if they get tied up in the wrong places and unable to out-bash the opponent. But they've got one thing going for them and that's that the opponent rarely leaves the match with an intact team  ;)

Thanks Barmution !

It was an intense match. It was really hard to stop you but I thought that I could manage a tie in the secon half before you managed to stop me and turn the game around. Perhaps my many GFI made it more difficult...

A few more guard on this team and it will be a different story I guess. There were very few injuries in this game. Only one right ?
You managed to KO several of my players...

Anyways GL in the future..
Yeah, it sure was a tight match with a lot of jockying for position.

I saw from the stats that you did 29 GFIs and failed 7 of them, which is about 2 more failures than the statistical average of that amount of rolls, so you did have slightly bad luck with them. We only had 1 injury (when you crowd surfed my Blitzer) but the result will make me fire an 11SPP 100k player, so the consequence is pretty grim... I guess that was my share of bad luck for the match. Considering the number of armor breaks (I broke yours 11 and you mine 10) we were both lucky not to get any injuries and me doubly so as I didn't even get a KO against me. Still, I only managed 2 "manual" KOs and 1 surf, so we were both below average here.

If you want some tips, I think that against elves you should try to focus on securing your cage during offense and not try to maximise damage. Also, fielding the Deathroller on defense against a quick team isn't that great an idea if your opponent knows what he's doing. And getting ag2, mv4 players tied up away from the ball may easily cost you a TD, so try to keep focused and don't overcommit to one side of the field. That way you won't need that many GFIs.

That said, your team will become truly fearsome with a little more Guard and MB. Dorfs always are  ;)

My crew is ready to rumble at the following start times (all CET/GMT+1):
Mon: 2100
