I have no time to strive for the quality of J-Reedys reports, but here's a short review of the Necro Norvegicus vs Virgins No More match:
The already injured High-elves lost one of their loners to a LoS block early, making it a bit harder for them to successfully hem in the Necros advance. Still, after some initial wrassling and positioning, the HEs got hold of the ball, but after a series of failed dodges and GFIs lost it again, allowing the Necros to do a rather risky dodge + handover without any RR left for a TD by werewolf Henrik Rip-Zen.
2nd half was a lot more evenly matched luck-wise, except for the VNMs Blitzer who, having gotten treatment from the teams Apo the first half for a mere scratch, ended up stuck with a broken collar bone. He had already managed to score a TD, so the Necros wasn't sad to see him go. The Elves had scored in round 12 and thus the rest of the half ended up with a scrum at the side of the LoS after some risky hijinks involving a ghoul with super slippery hands.

All in all a respectable match that probably would have been a win for the High Elves for sure if not for their rotten luck in the first half.

Btw, I couldn't see any SPP/level gains in the team management screen. Does the match have to be validated first?

Didn't see you last night, Moonuel, so I'll be keeping an eye out on this forum tonight until 21:00 GMT +1 (+daylight savings). I don't know when MD1 is over in Ulls pasture now, but if it doesn't end tonight, how about a match tomorrow night?

Hm... that sounds more like you forgot to click buy/ok on the inducement page after clicking the + on the wizard inducement screen or something. Seems strange if that wasn't case, though :/

Very possible. Lightning bolt fails (fizzles) at a 1, fireball only hits on a 4-6 pr target inside the area of effect. No rerolling those rolls either, so there you go. No such thing as a sure thing in Blood Bowl  ;)

Yeah, that makes more sense. I also agree that you might benefit from that build, but you are tempting Nuffle something fierce. A couple of MNG early and you risk getting MVP on loners and such nonsense. More power to you if you actually pull it off, tho  ;D

Just took a look at Moonuel's Dark Elf team in Ull's Pasture, and I got to hand it him: That is one insanely gutsy start roster! Don't you ever roll 1s or double-skulls, man?  :D No re-rolls or apo isn't for the faint of heart...
