Kvasilad started on offence but had a lousy blocking luck early on which gave me a chance to get the ball away. Then I got the ball close to the endzone but orcs came and took the ball away ending the first half scoreless. Gitz started the second half strong, taking out all my strength players and I only got to scoring distance because of double skulls from the orcs. Kvasi had 3 turns to score and he started strong succesfully long-bombing the ball from near his endzone to the middle of the field. However, then a bob once again failed a block and I got a sudden chance for the ball-carrier and got the ball away. Some blocking ensued and then the ref blew the whistle. Thanks again for the game, Kvasilad, and sorry again for being late for the game. Good luck with the lizzies in the next season!

- This season is for new (or relatively new) teams so there will be a TV limit of 1200.
- Only new teams or teams that have been played in previous NUL-leagues.
- League will be played with normal 1 match week per 1 real-time week pace.
- As last season, we'll be enforcing the rule that if you don't show up to play a game on agreed time AND you don't tell about your absense at least an hour before the match in the forum, you'll forfeit the game with an 2-0 admin loss to your opponent who is waiting for you.
- ALL NEW COACHES ARE WELCOME! This is your chance of glory with everyone on an even start!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW COACHES:
1. Read the introductory thread with the explanation on league structure HERE.
2: Create an account on this forum. Note that due to high activity from spam-bots, admins have to approve your account before you can post here. This shouldn't take longer than a day or two. And please don't use any id's or e-mail addresses that look spambotty like (e.g. "adman745" or "erxcvethxddy") or you might be mistaken as a bot.
3: Post a reply in this thread that you want to join.
4: Read the "Essential rules" section HERE and post a reply in that thread that you have understood the rules.
5: The admin team will add you on the participant list in this post.

ABOUT THE TIMETABLE
Season 17 regular season should wrap up by the end of November and then it's just 2 rounds of playoffs. Let's give about week for the team signups in the game, so we should be able to get the season 18 going somewhere around the second/third week of December.

Hi Kvasiman!
I noticed you had harsh thoughts about playing this match as your team was crippled but it would be great if you could bring yourself to play this match so that I don't get unfair advantage in the playoffs race as an admin draw or win for me would settle my playoff spot.

No time to play this weekend, office christmas party and stuff going on, but next week should work on following CET times:
- Tuesday 18-21
- Wednesday 14-21.30
- Thursday 14-20

Let me know if any of those suits you, sir. I'm not sure about the rest of the week yet, I'll update next week when the situation clears.

Well, bit of a Pyrhic victory for me this time. Looks like that if I'm getting into the playoffs, the team playing there will be a bit different than the team that played it's way there. Equilibri started with the ball, niggled my +ST lino early, so I used my apo there. I managed to stop the offence and got two BOBs seriously injured and two KO'd and when the KO's didn't come back, the second half looked sunny for me. Then my star blitzer got killed. Well, he had a -AG, so maybe it was time for him to go. Then my experienced runner got killed. Equi defended well and even took the ball away twice (got it back on next turn both times though) so it all came down to my thrower picking up the ball and long-passing it to a runner waiting at the goal line. That he did, and the runner even caught it after initial fumble. Nice, exciting and bloody game, thanks again, Equilibri (well, not for that bloody part ;))!

All righty, Equi-man, looks like your thrower got some new skill from last day. Let's see if you get something that helps against drunk'n'bearded beer-guzzlers (Force Sobering might help). I'm a bit under weather at the moment as my team apotechary said that my sore throat is actually a bacterial infection. But he also gave me some candy for that, so I think I should recover by following CET/GMT+1 times:
- Wednesday 16.30-21.30
- Thursday 16-20
- Friday 17-19.30

Let me know if one of those suits you, sir. I also might be able to make it tomorrow early evening (around 17) if those are not good. After those times my next possibility is Sunday evening as I'll be in "talkoot" ("gemensamt arbete" or something like that) on Saturday and the most of Sunday, helping with a basketball tournament.

Ok, it seems I've stayed up too long, walls seem to be moving restlessy and sofa seems to be causing some rackett in the living room, I'll go hold it down and zip on some honey tee laced to help one of those apothecary candies go down.

I made it an admin draw, win would've been unfair for the other teams in the playoffs race and it's not your fault that Swedish ISPs seem to as slow as Finnish.

Hi B. My BGN (board-gaming night) got cancelled, so I should be able to play from about 20.30 CET on (I have another BB match starting at about 19, I'll be free after that, should be a fast one as I'm playing 'flings). So I'll wait around online till to some time after 21 CET in case that you've got your Internet ready and running.

Tuesday is a no go but Wednesday and Thursday should work this week. Let me know if today doesn't work.
