NUL match week 4 recap by Fagronkey Nagrumbundyme.

Standings after week :

Welcome ya'all to NUL week 4 recap! We have a record match here this week to recap! I'm of course talking about The Partly Animals versus the White Fire match where the elf teams scored a whopping 5 touchdowns between them! The victors were the high-elf White Fire with a 2 to 3 score! The squirrels of war, as The Partly Animals are also know, fought bravely but this time the White Fire were simply more physical scoring 3 KOs against the wood elfs. Despite their loss, the Partly Animals still remain third in the standings, while the White Fire's win earns them the coveted 8th place as the final team to make the playoffs. However, there are still matches to be played and standings are likely to change many times!

Five TDs in one game. That's actually just only one TD shy of combined the TD count of the other 4 matches. The match with the second highest TD count also featured elfs. The team in question was of course the third elf team, the pro elf team Elfy Way that hosted a match against the human Getingarna. Elfy Way were physically outmatched but their star player reinforcement, Jordell Freshbreeze, came through and according to reports took care of the elf's defensive play single-handedly. With the help of Jordell the pro elfs managed a 2-1 win despite 2 casualties and 6 KOs they suffered!

No team from the first two matches recapped will miss any of their players in week 5. That won't be the case for the one team from the third matchup well cover. The matchup is the one between the amazon Cougar Kittens and the undead Material Ghouls. The amazons entered the game with 0 caused casualties but left with a total of 3 casualties, one of them being a permanently re-killed zombie and one a serious injury of the  ghoul Marilyn Moredough. The injury of miss Moredough is of such nature that the Material Ghouls will like drop her (height of the drop is not known). According to trusty eye-witness reports Cougar Kittens were also heavily favored by Lady Luck which helped them score a 2-0 victory.

Undead teams had hard time regenerating week. The Khemri team Drop Dead Gorgeus will also miss one player, their rookie Thro-Ra Satayat Khuath next week. DDG however managed to win their matchup against the norse Vinterlegionen with a close 1-0 score. DDG continue at the top of the standings. Vinterlegionen have had a tough starting schedule playing against both undead teams and the high-scoring elfs. Week 5 will take the norse team to the chaos lands where they'll bash up against the Chaotic Dudes in a match that could prove extremely important when considering the playoff-race.

On week 4 the Chaotic Dudes hosted the Nurgle team Sweet Sweet Decay. The game ended in a scoreless draw but the Chaotic Dudes emerged as the dominant chaos team by scoring 4 casualties against the 0 of the SSD. SSD will have to rest their rotter Shari the Nauseous next week due to a smashed hip. The chaos teams really must've concentrated on the physical play as the teams only moved the ball 34 yards during the whole game.

Here's the summary of the results from the week 4:

Week 5 of NUL is ahead. In regards to standings the most interesting matchup should be the meeting of the 1st place Drop Dead Gorgeous and the 3rd place The Partly Animals. There are no surefire high-scorers this week, as none of the elf teams play against each other. The most physically interesting game should be the Chaotic Dudes vs Vinterlegionen clash. Keep your eye on the ball and your fist on the face of the opponent and remember to stay tuned for more NUL news!
