Uh... does Rex Luthor's name begin with a space, or is that an interesting bug I see? :D

Lars

Don't think he has a space as first Char but can try to check that tonight when i get home.

Hello, Gnaarkill.

Would Sunday at 16:00 be okay? I'm afraid I'm not free over the week days due to Mount and Blade events, and I'm going out on Saturday.

Sunday works, could I maybe suggest a small delay? 18.00 would work out better for me, if that works for you, sir? ;D

Haha, he totally does though! I just checked the team roster in-game, I'm amazed they let you name players beginning with spaces :D

Lars

And I am amazed that i managed to put a space as first Char must have been a bit unfocused when creating the team.

First round is in the books for two largely human teams, and it was a bit of a slogfest. The brewery enthusiasts got the better of the fisticuffs for the most part, although blows were dealt both ways.

Bretonnians got the ball first, and managed to stumble into the end zone eventually, after a lot of huffing and puffing that lasted for the entire half.

Norse got the ball to start off the second half, and proceeded to remove two Brets from the pitch in the very first turn, pretty much ensuring the equalizer. There was a bit of a hiccup mid-half, but they managed to quite safely guide the ball to the end zone in due time.

The armour-challenged Ulfwerener suffered a mild case of death, while a Bretonnian Blitzer fractured his arm. Other than that, a friendly affair!

Brother's in Death finally get some sort of well deserved revenge vs those pesky Wonderworlders!

Hakos played a solid game and didn't expose his key players to unnecessary danger this time around and that made the match really difficult for me. I was pretty darn lucky to get away with my equalizer but I got my share of bad stuff too (like 2 blitz! events against me) so I feel that it was a relatively even affair. Highly entertaining match with loads of back and forth, easily the best in terms of not being decided by luck that the Brothers and WWs have had.

Thanks for an excellent match, Hakos, and gl further on!

Battle Report, Day 1

Sir,

Winter is over and the spring campaign can start. Our troops are eager to get back into the action after a well deserved rest. Seems those pesky Wonderworlders are still hanging around eager to beat us once again but our generals have not rested during winter. New tactics have been created, let's see how it work in practice.

Wonderworlders prepare to attack us but we ambush them instead. Our cavalry flanks them. They are forced to regroup completely. Battle breaks out all over the field and it is bloody. 20% of all brigades on both side are shattered and leaves the field almost immediately. Field surgeons have to work, a lot.

Seems the enemy have recruited some local star to help them as well. All those claws are tearing through our perimeter troops but they are not able to reach our veteran units. Those veteran units are instead sent out on search and destroy missions to wear down the enemy.

In the end one of their elite troops manage to break through our lines, our cavalry dash to push them back into the hands of general Lee's Heavy infantery but they miracously slip away, just to end up in reach of general Grant's heavy infantery. But yet again they manage to slip away and they are even able to capture our home base and sack it of valuables.

Time to regroup and attack them. This time no dark magic aids them. We can safely build our battlefield squares and move forward. General Grant's Heavy infantery ties up four enemy brigade in a brilliant holding manuever. Although they are shattered but this makes it easy for the rest of our troops to reach their target. We regain our valuables.

Battle is even again, Wonderworlders regroup for yet another attack but our scouts have done a good work and once again we can ambush them. And they have to quickly regroup in a less favourable position. We are able to contain them and our base is safe this time. When dark falls both armies withdraw after a very intensive but yet inconclusive day.

Seems our new tactics worked well but the Wonderworlder commander made really impressive moves preventing us from gaining the full benefit.

Draw!

Signed, General William Sherman

Thanks for the game Barmution, it sure was the most intense and even match so far between these teams. Just needed two blitzes to make it even... Anyway, very entertaining.

Season opener for Slowly we R0t and the Kossar Catchers ended in an somewhat exciting draw. :)

Nurgle marched steadily forward in the first half and the Catchers had a hard time stoping the machinery. Not that Nuffle made it any easier by giving the Cossacks a hard time with the dices. The tides somewhat turned in the second half and it was the Rotters turn to get the bad luck dices. Napoleon made good decisions playing the "out run"-game which eventually led to a nice TD.

"1-1, it's a start" says a satisfied coach Gnaarkill.

Well I say... 3 out of 4 draws? This sneaking socialistic distribution of points won't stand for another round, surely!
