Match played between vacation coach working team and working coach vacation team.

The dudes won 2-1.

First half the humans elected to attack and scored a quick two turner TD by simply going straight forward through the elven lines.

Elves then managed to score in turn 7 after a bit of back and forth, switching sides and eventually dodging away from all humans. Just as elves do.

Second half the elves were on the attack but this time the humans did manage to retrieve the ball from them. There were notably fewer elves on the field in the second half which did make the task much easier. A block heavy team facing a newbie team does have a clear advantage here. The winning TD came with only one turn left on the clock so it was not easy. Just easier.

Morg N'Thorg helped the elves and singlehandedly caused havoc on the human side and turned this into an excting game. He and Rasputin (the human ogre) faced off multiple times to see who was the toughest ogre. It was sort of equal, although Rasputin had to use a bit of help to achieve that.

I agree with J-Reedy. BB3 is not as fun as BB2, but it is workable.

Also, I have had both work and private life issues preventing me from being active last season. Both seems to be managed now so I will join and be more active this season.

Humans vs Goonies 3-0 - Read all about it here

Goonies decided to defend but were not so good at it. The humans scored in turn 2 by defying all normal laws. Doing 1 handover and 1 long pass despite being very close to some disturbing prescence. Althouhg it cost some RR.

Goonies then tried to attack but were stopped in some great mishamash in the middle of the field. One injured human was all they managed to get before half time.

Time for the Goonies to attack, in second half. Once again a great mishmash happened in the mid field close to the border. Strangely enough no player visited the audience. Eventually one human blitzer emerged from the giant scrum with the ball and ran all the way to score with with just two turns left for the Goonies.

For the third time Goonies wanted to attack but a timely blitz from the humans stopped that. The human catcher even managed to catch the ball directly from the kick-off and then score in turn 16.

Unfortunately I am not able to play until earliest Friday evening. Saturday and Sunday also work well most times as long as we plan at least 1 day in advance.

First match of MD5 is played.

9000 spectators showed up to watch the humans and dwarf team battle it out on the green field.

First half the dwarfs attacked and fouled. The judge was clearly bribed. It payed off and after a slow grind the dwarfs scored in turn 8.

Second half the humans attacked and were slowed down. They even lost the ball at one occasion. Luckily the humans had found a weakness in the dwarven armor and could remove dwarf after dwarf from the field until only four remained. That made it possible for the catcher to score in turn 16.

A classic, slow grinding affair, that ended in 1-1.

Humans had 60 blocks versus the dwarf 44 blocks. 6 of these blocks resulted in a serious dwarf injury.

Thanks for the game Lazer, I really hope you can scrounge together some good journeymen and fix the armor for your next game.
