Day 1 ends with a shocking result....

THE LEGENDS OF BLOOD BOWL, ISSUE NUL18:1

Welcome back to 'The Legends of Blood Bowl'. Pre-season, an inital ranking list was constructed. Simply based on how much the coaches payed for the players. The list is updated after every day and some players will be selected and highlighted. Now we can start to see who were really worth the money, or not. The match to watch was clearly the OKWF vs Kauppaopiston Opet. 3 of our 5 selected players showed their colors in that match. And we are not even including the ogre who scored a touchdown in that match.

#1, Value 160, Alone at the top of the list we now have 'Hulk Hogre'. One of the most expensive players pre-season, and one of the few at the top of the list who really showed why they belong there. With 3 amazing 'leg drops' resulting in 3 casualties for the opponent he has set the bar for violence.

#7, Value 130, With an interesting mix of speed, agility and strength we find 'Angua von Überwald'. She managed to make her two injuries with such flair that even the opposition was impressed. She was also awarded the MVP for her team. Rumor has it that she is still improving and will be even faster next game. Clearly a player to follow closely.

#19, Value 100, The next player to really watch, and don't blink, because then you might miss a goal, is 'Edmund Emmenthaler'. With an amazing 4 touch downs in the first match, a record that will probably last for a long time, he is definitely a slippery rat to watch out for.

#58, Value 70, Here we have one of the big surprises of the first day. The thrall 'Little Bite'. In a match dominated by OKWF this thrall still managed to injure one opponent and survive. Not a mean feat considering that both the opponent and his own team mates are out to get his blood. Perhaps that is why he has learnt to run much faster? If he manages to survive he might be one of the surprises this season.

#102, Value 40, Talking about survival. The snotlings probably have the shortest life expectancy of all players. But here is a snotling to watch out for. In a match dominated by Ogres and Vampires, 'Jerry 'The King' Greenler' still became the most valued player of his team after injuring a player from the vampire opposition.

Despite several injuries, only one permanent damage were recorded. Overall it was quite a friendly start. We expect to see more blood soon.
