Luiggi, where are you m8!?

Seems the gobbos are lost in the mountain pass somewhere between Ostermark and the Ogre Kingdoms. The Ogres has sent out a search and rescue party to try and save the poor little green ones. It would be fatal for the OKWF to miss this match since the board are considering a liquidation of the team. Accordning to the board a walk over would mean shit to them. OKWF really has to prove their worth in the last match of the season.
Rumours say that the gobdogs was taken as hostages by the Kauppaopiston Opet and led to the great halls of the BeerBellyz. Because a win for the OKWF would mean that the vamps would drop one position in the rankings and the Ogres would finish in an honorble 10th place instead of last .
Ofcourse all this may only be ogre propaganda. But as time passes the chances for a match are getting more slim and CEO Gnaarkill stated: " I know we are playing in a fare league but this is more than just a coincidence ".

The last match of the regular season has been played, and the Phins have it in an SPP-frenzy! A quick count indicates three players on each side gained a level after this one.

Thanks for the match Hakos!

Mr B

Hi Luiggi and Gnarkill.. it looks that you had your game and it ended 0-1 in the favor of the gobbos...
It's also uploaded in BBM, but please enter a sign here so we know for sure.

Thanks, then we move on.

THE LEGENDS OF BLOOD BOWL, ISSUE NUL18:11

The player groans in pain, the apothecary shakes his head and can't do anything while the coach starts to read the job wanted ads to find the replacement. Or, maybe not? After a total of 66 matches played, 26 players have got a permanent damage but only 13 of them have been fired. What is the secret to be able to continue to play with a broken neck, smashed ankle or broken collarbone?

Well, sometimes the injury simply doesn't matter. Who needs extra agility or speed if your job is to stand next to another guy, at the front line? Some reduced armor for a chaos dwarf? Well it hardly matters if you have armor 8 or 9 with such a thick skull.

But the finest example of the right damage at the right time surely was showed by OKWF today. An Ogre with a broken neck? No problem, 0 agility is not allowed due to laws of physics. A snotling with reduced strength? Not possible, would break the same law. That is professional wrestling. Serious injuries, but ready to play again in no time.

#13, Value 150, 'Sandalf the wise' is the fourth player to be recognized as an emerging star. He did it by severely hurting two opponents in today's match. With that he helped the boots to secure a play-off ticket and was naturally awarded the most valuable player award for his team.

#39, Value 120, 'Mean mr. Mustard' seems to be a late achiever. For 9 matches he did nothing, except getting a rather suspicious mvp award in day 4, there were whispers of bribes, nothing could be proven of course. But in the last two days he has managed to hurt an opponent in such ingenious ways that he was a clear winner of a double mvp award. Taking him to 3 in total. He is only the second player to manage that.

#4, Value 170, 'Looking Glass Knight' is a true work horse, steadily producing for her team (we assume it is a she, a he would not admire themselves in mirrors so much). In the last match, she shifted gear and managed to produce one touchdown, one pass and 2 casualties. Making her the fifth player to be officially recognized as an emerging star.

#20, Value 140, 'Killy Turner' continues to impress. With his second kill this season, a poor rookie elf thrower, he managed to reach 11 casualties in 11 days. With that, he has been able to gain some SPP in every match he has played. But he is even more unusual than that. He is also a saurus, with agility 1, that have managed to make not one but two touch downs this season. That is the mark of a future legendary player.

Unlucky, Yorkshire Terrier the Chainsawer didn't make it despite wreaking havoc in the ogre roster, breaking an ogre's neck, severing several snotlings and most importantly, scoring a touchdown in an amazing play. First he sawed the carrier in his own field, vacuumed the ball with the chainsaw intake funnel, proceeded to KO another snotling and scored the winning touchdown! He might not be a legend but he performed a feat that goblins will remember forever.

Other goblins were not as lucky, one of them died, crushed by an ogre. Nice hit! Another highlight of the game was Balldog the Fanatic injuring his own troll teammate, only to wander around the pitch for the remainder of the game, way to go, "champ".

BTW sorry for not posting earlier, my bad. GG Gnaarkill and good luck with your Ogres.

PS: nice write-ups, hakos.
