First match of MD5 is played.

9000 spectators showed up to watch the humans and dwarf team battle it out on the green field.

First half the dwarfs attacked and fouled. The judge was clearly bribed. It payed off and after a slow grind the dwarfs scored in turn 8.

Second half the humans attacked and were slowed down. They even lost the ball at one occasion. Luckily the humans had found a weakness in the dwarven armor and could remove dwarf after dwarf from the field until only four remained. That made it possible for the catcher to score in turn 16.

A classic, slow grinding affair, that ended in 1-1.

Humans had 60 blocks versus the dwarf 44 blocks. 6 of these blocks resulted in a serious dwarf injury.

Thanks for the game Lazer, I really hope you can scrounge together some good journeymen and fix the armor for your next game.

MD5
Chaos Vs DarkElfs.

Chaos started with the ball, and moved up slow, blocked by the elfs.
Moved to one side and the other, made a attempt to break throug, failed.
But then a failed dodge, made an opening.
Which was almost caged, but tripping on that GFI, made the open gap that was needed.
Down the ball keeper went, but Brother Goat, got it. Some chainpush later and 1-0.

I think about this time DE was down two players, and was a bit stunned.
But they woke up rushed carefully after some nice analysis and then could equalize 1-1.

Second half, some heat got up and the sun burned away two players each.
Which made it hard and the Hot whichelf stood there with the ball and were blitzed down.
Again after some failed dodges, and the round later she was removing herself with a skull.
2-1 to Chaos, and then it was even more uphill for the Elfs.
And with a lucky blow, the blodger was down, ball free and some turns later 3-1.

Keep it up Memo, nice game, not so nice dice.
Thanks for the game.
Cya around.

In the cold dark night of spring two powerhouses collided against one another as The Orks took on The Shunned.

The traditional Orc scout report states the following:
The Orks went'on da offens after winnin'da coin toss an' started to make deir way to da end zone. The Orks 'ad only two Big'Uns an' were ova'powered by da Shunned who 'ad three 'uge monstas on da pitch an' dey was terryfyin'! One woulda been bad but three was just 'orrible.
The Orks managed'ta stomp one of da'uge beasts off da pitch an' took control of da right flank early on forcin' da Shunned to'urry back to try an' prevent dem from advancin'. After some violent scrappin' da Shunned linemen failed some blocks which allowed The Orks to swing to da left flank an' break through to score da goal, 1-0 for The Orks!
Afta' The Orks kicked da ball to da Shunned, dey tried to do a sneeky gobbo toss play by da troll but ran out of time before dey got da ball to da gobbo an' so da first 'alf ended 1-0.

The Orks started da second 'alf with only 10 playas against 11 of da Shunned but levelled da playin' field immediately by nockin' out one of da'uge ones. Da Shunned tried'ta break through first from da left, den from da right, an'den from da left again.
Den disasta'struck for The Orks! Big'Un Aklan 'Bad Penny' tripped on 'is own feet durin' a block an' left a gap for'da Shunned to run thru'da left flank! The Orks tried desperately to catch da lineman Lord Fredde but wid'no effect: Da Shunned scored an'tied the game, 1-1. Wi'alf of da secon'alf to go The Orks got lucky az da Shunned kicked da ball ouda bounds an' The Orks got a touch back. So The Orks made a mad dash down da right flank tryin' desperately to score da winnin' goal, but az Sokur 'Weakling' tried'ta make a break for it da Shunned orc Zabutom managed to trip'im an'da ball was dropped to'da ground. Den right at da very end The Orks 'ad one last shot at scoring da winning goal after da Ogre Techno Viking fo'got wat 'e was suppose'da do and fo'got to mark Hebyr 'Filthy Fangs' who was now home free. Afta some succesful blocks to free up playas da Gobbo Skarsnik 'The elusive' failed to pick up da ball an' 'and it ova' to Hebyr an' before dey'ad a chance to try again da ref whistled for full time.

In a post match interview with The Orks' head coach he spoke of the match:
"We'ad a good match, but like da famous orc band 'Da Black Eyed Beast' once sang: Where is the blood, the blood, the blood...?"

Thank you for the match Gnaar, I had fun and I hope you did too.

Let there be a winner and let them bask in great sunshine, said the great Chaos. So there was pouring rain. And rain is always bad news for Gramp's Great Goonie Gang as that takes away their greatest strength - the rotting, putrid, horrible smell. So that gave renegade Chaos side of Rejects United upper hand and they managed to take out two Bloaters right at the start of their first drive. It looked like all was going swimmingly for the Rejects but unfortunately the rain wasn't hard enough to make swimming quite possible and Gramp's Goonies got back into play, blocking the first attempt through the line at Rejects' right. The second attempt on left however, that broke through. But then the Lineman carrying the ball decided to not push for it and instead toss a wink and a smile at that pretty fetching brunette on the first row of the luxury box right by the goal-line. And at the precise moment that the smile hit the eyes of the target it was intented for, the horns of the Pestigor - that had broke from the grasp of the Troll trying to hold him and bravely dodged his way to make a blitz - smashed through the back of the mr. winky-smiley ball-carrier who slumped to the ground hurt while the ball rolled to the stop by the feet of the Pestigor. And that was to be the end of the first half.

Let the sunshine continue and cats start barking, said Chaos, and thus the pouring rain continued and loud racket of meaowing started at the werewolf section of the stands. It was turn for the Chaotic Goonies to attack, now surprisingly with 2 man advantage as the Rejects Minotaur had blocked himself off the field. To the middle and then to the left they went, breaking the line and opening up a pocket for the ball. Rejects tried to cover by dodging away, but that would not be. Few minutes later, the Goonies got the score. Rejects lined up for their second try but a failed block at the line gave the Goonies a chance to break the line and get next to ball. But as all worshippers of Chaos know, nothing is as certain as certainty is truly the only true falsehood you can expect. So the ball naturally ended up in the hands of Rejects Skaven player and he rushed to the goal to get the tying score after a Pestigor trying to bring him down decided to run straight into the fist of the said Skaven.

And thus, there was a tie, just as the great Chaos had ordered.

Pretty ordinary game here I think. Saitani had great start with the dice, getting two Bloaters out on first turn while I was getting nothing but pushes. But my great dice came from dodges that gave me a succesfull TD stopping blitz when Saitani had decided to not to go for the TD with second rush. Saitani's Minotaur was also being very stubborn, whacking his own players and finally taking himself out with a both down block. In the second half I got the numbers advantage and also dice advantage, so scoring TD was pretty easy. But Saitani fought back to score the TD even though he got a horrible start for the kickoff. Nice game from Saitani as always, it's was a pleasure man. Good luck in the rest!

Final match of MD5 has been played!

Nuffle had fun with this one. A lot of extreme dice both ways, but what really decided it was removing 4(?) Black Orcs from the pitch in turns 8, 9 and 10. There was no coming back from that.
