Not a day off in Norway, so can't make it before about 17 probably

Hmm, i think that will be tough. I will probably be away on a celebration by then. How does the weekend look for you?
Otherwise we are looking at week 27. And that maybe will result in a admin win for you because i understand if people dont want to wait.

/Gnaar

I'm away Saturday and Sunday, but may be able to make Sunday evening. Might be late, though.

I can actually play now today if you happen to see this in time, can probably start the next couple of hours before it gets too late. If we try for Sunday, I should be able to guarantee start at 22, hopefully sooner.

Wrestling time at last!

I can play today any time from about now, really, will need a little heads up though.

Next up is Friday, should be pretty open for me.

Other than that, we're looking at next week. I think all evenings next week appear to be open atm.

It's already 4 days since I complained about this MD going on for a bit too long, so I guess my vote is clear.

As for the admin/forfeit, I'm a bit unclear as to who's more at fault though. I guess Golden had to pull out at the last minute, but muller failed to reply to the thread for about a week. I'm a bit ambiguous there.

June 3: Match day starts
June 6: Golden write with two possible start times
June 6: Muller replies, proposing the same evening which was already not a possibility for Golden based on first post
June 8: Golden questions whether his second original proposal is still a possibility
June 13: Muller replies with two new possible times
June 14: Golden says he _might_ be able to play tomorrow
June 14: Muller accepts
June 15: Golden can't make it after all.

I'd say that a fair effort was made by both players to schedule the match, but both had (presumably) very busy schedules, and it seems like Golden just unluckily ended up with the short end of the stick for a proposal he said he _might_ be able to make.

If it were up to me, I think I'd admin a draw there, but that's my 2 cents.

So... what's up with the last match, golden and muller? It's been over a week since MD start now.

Did not notice I was actually sweating until I wiped my brow after that final blitz. That was a tense match.

It started out with Nuffle giving me some extra wind in my sails, granting me the first receiving drive and a quick snap to boot. Everything went smoothly for about 1.75 turns, where my sure-footed skink failed GFI with snake-eyes in the end zone with the ball (I think it says a lot about human psychology that I strongly feel GFI's fail more often in opponents' end zones despite all rational thinking indicating otherwise).

Since I was pretty (over-)confident about making the 35/36 roll, the rest of the team was in a sorry state. That is, mostly hypnotized. It was an easy recovery for the vamps, and I felt pretty sure this was going to be one against fairly soon. Through some pretty horrid dice for the vamps though, the lizzies managed to recover and score.

3 turns left in first half is plenty of time for vampires, though, and although a daring scheme to blitz with the kroxigor came within a gfi of sabotaging it, the drive was successful in equalizing to 1-1.

The second half was a back-and-forth tense battle which the phins absurdly managed to steal and come away with the winning TD in turn 16.

Whole match really felt random, as my D6 were horrible (-15, couldn't dodge for shit), but my 2d6 and block dice were stellar (+15 armour break), which really made the difference in the second half. Felt like I easily could've lost the match 2-0 if it weren't for a couple of strong rolls at crucial points.

Anyway, thanks for the match B! Really shouldn't make'em this exciting this late, as there's no way I'll be able to sleep for about an hour now :D

Mr. Bantha, Sir!

I would tangle with the fang enthusiasts this very evening at nine, should the moon be out and the stars aligned!

... or, you know, next week some time.
Hmm I'll check if it is possible...
Nope, kids are clear awake.. not possible to get a game going..sorry.
Next week then, Tuesday?

Looks crystal, let's go Tuesday 21 then?

Superb report J-R :)

Stunning to see not just one, but two 0-0 matches in one NUL MD. When was the last time that happened?

Lasseman!

I'm jumping the gun a little bit here, but it seems like the last match of MD4 will be played on Thursday, so assuming the MD is forwarded soon after, I'm ready to play Friday 18+, basically all of Saturday, and Sunday before evening (probably start as late as 15 is ok)

think i can make it 18 friday otherwise sunday but ican only do evening after 20:00.

/Lars

As I said, I can't do Sunday evening, so let's try for Friday at 18 if possible. Otherwise, next week sometime I guess.

Holy crap. So many twists and turns.

I was sure I would win, then I was sure I would lose, repeat that a couple more times, and you have the rollercoaster ride that Nuffle provided us with this matchday.

Hakos won the toss, and let me receive first. Probably a good choice, to defend with all elves on field first. Seemed like an easy score for a skink, until the sure-feeted guy snake-eyed a gfi into the end-zone. Sigh. Well, with lizards still at 11, the control of the field was sufficient to score already the next turn. 1-0 lizards.

Elves got the ball, broke through on the flank, and all efforts to stop them proved futile. Easy equaliser for the elves, making it 1-1.

With still 3 turns to go in the first half, there was still plenty of opportunity, and lizards managed to up the score to 2-1.

Hakos gets the ball in the last turn of the first half, and I set up defence against a one-turner. Hakos sets up an offence that's not really trying to score. And then, there's a riot, and suddenly there are two turns left in it. Hakos knocks a path through, and through some tremendous brainfarting, I did not managed to knock out the one guy that could actually score. A well-deserved 2-2, although it had more to do with my laughable idiocy than Hakos' brilliant planning that particular turn.

Half-time at 2-2, and the lizards have failed to reduce the elves' numbers in any meaningful way. There's still plenty of match to play. It should be noted that Eldril Sidewinder had been playing for the elves, but spent the first 3.5 drives enjoying the company of the busty bloodweiser babes far more than he should, and failed to show up for the actual game most of it. He was back for the second half, though.

Excelsior get the ball, and again mount a solid offence the Phins seemed powerless to stop, upping to 3-2. Not very eventful, all things told.

Phins scored again in the next drive, making it 3-3 and all to play for.

The last drive, 3 turns to go, and it's Hakos' ball. The lizards get a pretty good defensive scheme going, until the 2d blitz for the block/tackle saurus results in a double skull re-roll double skull. At this point, I pretty muh gave up. Then, Hakos' accurate, safe-throwing passer failed to deliver an accurate pass, and after not being caught, it bounced beautifully the maximal length away from any elves.

My +ag skink managed to pick it up and pass it to a skink closer to the end zone, and after solidifying an improvised cage around him, there was no stopping him. In the last of many unexpected twists, The Phin Phighters stole this match 4-3.

Thanks for the game Hakos, it truly came down to Nuffle in the end.
