Whoa, that Ogracadabra vs. FMM sure was brutal. 870 TV and 20k going into MD2 is a bit of a hurdle!

Let the race for not being "that team" in Feeder division begin! :D

A middle-of-the-day-ish game on Saturday or Sunday would be good for me, other than that it's going to have to be after the weekend I'm afraid.

Good to have several options on the table here. I guess the biggest problem right now is that we are 9 coaches. Time for a new recruiting drive perhaps? :)

Good stuff! But you didn't answer the question of whether it is possible to arrange a cup with only semis->final instead of quarters->semis->finals.

I would at least say that it is important that a couple of teams do not qualify for the cup. If everyone qualifies for the cup, I'd say skip the cup altogether, because the season is more or less pointless. I'd even say that if it's possible to arrange it so that we just play season -> semis -> final with the few teams we have now (<= 10), we should do that. For example winner of division 1 meets runner-up of division 2 and so on. I am painfully aware that that would have meant I wouldn't have qualified this season, but that's ok. Qualifying for the cup should mean something in my opinion.

Having two divisions is the only way to mix old and new teams I guess, and 4 games can mean a lot of TV with some luck. Or almost nothing if you're playing easily killed woodies :P

Is there any way to set it up so that everyone plays the others in the division twice before the play-offs like in an NFL season? That would've been ideal, it seems to me.

I can't shake the feeling that I really really would like to try out Khorne, but I guess that would mean a full season of straight losses while learning how to not cause turnovers constantly :D

The structure looks good to me, I'm thinking of maybe taking Disorganized Dudes out for a new spin if that's the season 9 format.

Congratulations to Mr. B, the undisputed champion of season 8!

The final result was 2-0, and I have to say I felt out-played and out-positioned throughout the match. I did try to take out some of his av7 guys in the first half of the match, as well as fouling a couple of times, but got no support from the big N. Looking at the BBM stats, I guess that was actually quite a nuffling in total. But hey, I've had my fair share of luck to get this far, so I guess I was due some comeuppings :D

I should be good to play most days this week actually, including today, from about 2030 (that's your preferred start time, right?)

I already have a game on Saturday, so I'd rather avoid another, but I could do Sunday about any time really.
