Any admins that can validate our match? More anxious than usual, since I don't really know who levelled and stuff (usually rely on BBM). I know the krox did, and a skink at least.

Validated, looks like Wallace & Wake are emerging as stars.

Add-on: Ooooh, Kroxigor has been hitting the gym hard lately...

JEALOUSY ROCKS AT DA BEATMORES CONCERT!
Da Beatmores performed another rocking concert this week, this time in BeerBelly Stadium! However, the excellent gig got a nasty turn on the Blood Bowl match that followed the gig. The rumours that the hearthrod Joinz Lennyn is dating the trollette (the sex of the troll Joko Ono is still in question but for purposes of journalism, we'll assume she is a trollette) Joko Ono got a bunch of teen dwarvettes (as usual, the sex of the dwarfs is pure speculation at this point, but the apprehended dwarfs had pink ribbons tied to their beards and they were shreaking "I love you from all my girlish heart almost as much as gold, Lennyn" when the stadium officials apprehended them, so we'll go with the dwarvette at this point) so riled up that they stoned Joko Ono so hard at the start of the second half, that the poor trollette fell over and broke her arm. This means that the bootmakers' daughters will get to enjoy Lennyn without the Joko Ono who will be missing Da Beatmore's next gig and Blood Bowl match. Oh, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Quite a blocky affair, nothing as extravagant as the gig which for example saw the Fab Four perform their own da'pop version of the old dwarf classig Short Stubby Sally.

It's almost midnight and I've got to get up in five hours, so that's that. BBM still out of commission, let's see if it recovers at some point.

And BBM is up, so here's the pic:

DISCHORD AT THE DA BEATMORES GIG!
Da Beatmores, Fab Five, Da Mob Tops, Quarrelmen - whatever you call them, they're the hottest thing out there in the music world right now. However, at their latest gig in Cheeseville, there were some dischords in the air. Not during the gig, that was fabulous as always. The band was really on fire! After the stage had been cleared of burning rags of those unfortunate teen skavenettes that spontaniously combusted and caused the fire, the gig really got groovy and Da Beats once more took their audience to seventh heaven - which in skaven circles is considered to be a cheese factory with production lines for all possible cheeses and free sampling - and beyond with their tunes. However, the dischord was felt when the Blood Bowl match following the gig started. You see, Da Beatmores had brought along two new recruits to their entourage, troll or trollette Joko Ono (nobody can tell if she is he or he is she, he/she is listed as troll in the official league roster but his/her team-mate Lennyn keeps calling her/him either mother or ocean girl) and band's former goblin drummer Pete Worst. As to the dischord, there were strong rumors that Fab Four's lead composer/blitzer Joinz Lennyn had insisted that Joko the troll/trollette take the field and play with the team. Other members of the core band were not so enthusiastic about this but agreed to the demands.
The lack of harmony on the field showed clearly from the first moment, the Joko spent couple of first downs just standing still really stoopidly and yelling "Pookie! Pookie!". Meanwhile, the skaven team World of Cheese took advantage of this disharmony. The rat-folk blocked efficiently and took the ball away from the orcs easily and scored a defensive TD. The second half was just as poor for Da Beatmores. They got the ball away at one point but the skaven were simply unbeatable and scored a showy and dodgy TD. Da Beatmores managed a lucky TD and had a chance for an equalizer at the waning moments of the match, but Piggies the roadie was too fast on his feet and fell down while trying to get away from scary skaven gutter runner following him.
But fear not, the dischord on the field wasn't showing at the post-game encore - Fab Four were just as fabulous as ever, closing the gig with their new hit songs "For You Blue Cheese" and "Shake, Rats and Cheese Rolls". However, only future will tell if the troll(ette) situation will spill onto the stage but at the moment there's no sight of that and Da Beatmores' entourage started their journey to the Beerbelly Stadium as a happy band.

------

Nice match from Equilibri, he took advantage of good block dice and I only managed to hang in there with lucky bounce from failed hand off. At the end I might've gotten a tying TD with dodge or blitz at the final turn but decided to gfi on the second to avoid under-strength blitz against me on the last turn as I was extremely fearful of Equi's blocking. That failed and that was the match. However, our troll(ette?) Joko Ono proved that even though (s)he is really stupid, (s)he can hit as (s)he racked a casualty in his/her first match! Bright times are ahead for Da Beatmores with such a hulking precence on the field!

Day 3 is done and day forwarded, so it's time for next game day.

Equi-man, our base player has been practicing tackling all week just to prepare for this match, and he and rest of the band are really anxious for some cheese and onions (we'll bring the onions, I'm guessing you have the cheese). So it would be great if you could play starting on one of the following CET times:
- Wednesday 17-22.30
- Thursday 17-21
- Friday 20-22
- Sunday any time before 20

Let me know if any of those suits you, sir.

SWINGING SET AT THE GOBDOG STADIUM!

Da Beatmores - every teen orcettes dream band and every teen orcies favourite Blood Bowl band - performed tonight at the Gobdog stadium in another magnificent set of Blood Bowl and music. Fab Four opened with magnificent set of new hits, continued the stellar backbone of trusty classics and closed with their new song Johnny be Good Gobdog that really drove the crowd grazy! So the Blood Bowl match started with every player on the field tapping their feet and humming the catchy lyrics: "There lives young country gobboy, named Johnny B. Gobdog, he never ever learned to read or write a book so well, but he could play blood bowl, just like a-ringing a bell!"

With the rhytm in their blood, Da Beatmores' agent/thrower Sarge Pepper received the ball and proceeded to run along the left sideline with the crowd and fireworks exploding all around him. The fireworks calmed down after Sarge Pepper had passed the ball to the band's base blizer/player B'Maul McCarnagey and the Gobdog bombardier Bombtail decided to blitz McCarnagey instead of continuing to throw his bombs around. According to veterinary reports mr. Bombtail is feeling fine after his hurt and has already started reacting to balls thrown at him. Unfortunately he stills seems to have trouble noticing green fists flying towards his face. But even with the fireworks gone, the crowd continued going off in wild woofs and hoofs as Da Beatmores continued their hit after hit set on the BB field. The biggest reactions came when the Fab Four's bodyguard Madman broke the neck of Trollweiler the troll and after the trollette heart-throb B'Maul danced into the endzone. Interestingly PETA - People with Extreme(ly foolish) Troll Affections - has filed a complait against Madman for this show of force but the rest of the old world is applauding the black orc for his efforts in trying to dwindle down the troll popularion.

The attack of Da Beatmores was followed by a short stint of Gobdogs running around after the ball and taking bites at Da Beatmores. Goblins also got a chance to score but that effort was ruined by the gobdog trainer that forgot to feed American Bulltroll - the lone troll left on the field - on the half time and A.B. naturally decided to try to take a bite out of the ball-carrying Siberian Gobsky that he was destined to whisk behind the orcish line. Gobsky however managed to break free and the first half ended soon after that. Which meant that the crowd went crazy again! Because it was time for the already traditionaly half-time set of Da Beatmores!

Fab Four had chosen a more swinging set for the half time performing more jazzy versions of their hit songs. The biggest hit with the audience was the closing song Hey Bulldoggob. So it's only natural that the second half started with fans cheering: "Woof! What d'you say? I said woof! Wooaah ha ha ha!" and swinging around wildly. And the swinging continued on the field as the Gobdog walker left out the Gobdog fanatic Balldog with his ball. The Gobdogs started strong with Gobcker Spaniel smashing the hand of Madman and forcing him to leave the field. According to Godbog coach curly-haired Spaniel is very loyal team-mate so it was only natural that he would take offence against anybody hurting his team-mates although he is normally considered very docile and optimistic little fellow. Balldog also proved to be in a swing, aptly dancing around his team-mates. Unfortunately he also managed to miss the orcs most of the times but nevertheless, he did score enough hits to keep the Gobdogs in control of the game. But then the goblins suffered a setback when American Bulltroll decided to go for a blitz and ended up biting the turf. Da Beatmores took their chance with B'Maul McCarnagey leading the charge that took the ball-carrying Dalmagob down and out of the game. Following the charge Da Beatmores' lead vocalist/blitzer Joinz Lennyn gathered up the ball and never gave it up before he had scored the second TD for the orcs.

This was once again a magnificent set of music from the Fab Four and they surely made lots of small goblinettes happy with their visit to the Gobdogville! Next week Da Beatmores however will have to show if they can liven up even really cheesy joints and attract the attention of furry folks as the orc band travels to the skaven Cheeseneyworld. I'll be sure to follow this magnificent band and I'll report to you from the scene! Pop on!

Nice friendly game that was decided by 1) lousy dodging by the gobbos, 2) early departure of a troll and 3) double skulls and failed loner roll from the troll. Thanks again for the game and good luck in (most of) your future games, Luiggi!

DA BEATMORES IN A KNOCK-OUT OF A GIG AT THE BUSINESS INSTITUTE!

Da Beatmores continued their tour today with a Blood Bowl match against the Kauppaopiston Opet and a sweeeeet sounding da-pop performance that really knocked out those business institute girls! And that's just what the opposing players did at the BB match that preceded the Fab Four gig. The thralls of the institute were so awe-struck from the presence of the star performers that they were falling heads over heals while trying to dodge away from them. This gave Da Beatmores definate edge that they used to their advantage, winning the match 2-0. The biggest precense on the field was Beatmores' tour manager Sarge Pepper who scored both of the touchdowns. But the biggest hit with the girls of the business institute were definately the Fab Four, especially the lanky physique of Gory Hairyson seemed to make a hit judging by the number of thrallettes that followd Hairyson to the back-stage. The gig was just as awesome as last week and I can hardly wait for the next gig at the GobDogs Stadium. Be there or be square!

Kez started on offence and everything seemed to work fine, dodging most of the thralls away from all my orcs, but then vamp failed a long pass due to Very Sunny weather.  This resulted in three turns of both of us picking up the ball and then losing it to a blitz. But then thralls and vamps started getting knocked out and I got away to score the go ahead. Second half started 11 against 6 so there really wasn't much Kez could do at that point. Looking at the BBM stats I was lucky with the 1d but for some reason these guys like rolling skulls on blocks, however that didn't bother them today. Thanks again for the game, Kez.
